I've seen a bunch of the dailies. I've also seen some cut scenes with effects and it looks good. If you like that sort of thing, you should see it.

Trailer looks good to me at least, but sort of wish they stayed away from the phoneix angle.

Yeah, I'm not really sure what the story actually is, but the acting looks decent and the effects look good... Also the diologue doesn't sound too stupid

I hope Grammer can pull off the Hank McCoy character without coming across as Frasier in makeup.

well, you're not gonna forget the fact that he played Frasier. He's kinda like that Herman Munster guy in that respect.

Are you kidding? Beast is Frasier in make-up.

Though not necessarily in mannerism and presence. I just want to see Kelsey Grammer try to be Hank McCoy, and not the other way 'round. Beast was always a fave of mine...

Well, if that's the way you see that character you will not be disappointed because the makeup doesn't hide the Frasier.

BTW, when did they make Nightcrawler a fervent church-goer? The nightcrawler I remember from the John Byrne days was a bit of a tail-chaser and budding bon vivant of the Studio 54-era New York. Partied in jacuzzis with more than one girl, that sorta thing.
I check in years later, he's practically flagellating himself for his sins. Yick. Way to ruin a good thing.

I think it made him a far more dynamic character and asked a lot of compelling questions about being who he is. I think it was a great way to go with that character. Lady's man hero is cliche.

XM3 looks awesome. It's rather hard to tell exactly how the various plot elements link up to form a cohesive storyline, but if they do, it looks like it'll be great.

Lady's man hero is cliche.
I hadn't thought of him as a "lady's man" so much as a rampant sensualist, which I find altogether more appealing. The later redux seemed like the cliche.

I think pious repentant hero and ladies man hero are both pretty cliched.

I kinda surprised they haven't brought Apocalypse into the picture. I've heard that X3 will be the final film, and many main characters end up on a first name basis with the Grim Reaper. I would have thought Apocalypse would show up, seeing as he is the original mutant...

We may not see X-Men films per se, but I've heard we can expect Wolverine to get his own... and probably Magneto... how long before they all get their own "miniseries"? ;)

Sure, you let Joel Schumacher direct it.

I just wanna see six-storey-tall, pink-and-purple Sentinels rounding up suspected mutant teenagers at shopping malls. Seriously. I can just picture it - chasin' em through parking lots, crushing cars along the way, netting 'em and flying off en masse with their rocket-boot thingamabobs.
Classic!

haven't seen any trailers or clips, but the second movie owned, so i am looking forward to the next one

I've heard the same myself, and if a few of those names prove accurate, I will most likely not watch this film...
...or at least not pay for it. :p

Fucking lol!
There's a reason they change the stories when they make comic books into movies.:p

Well, I'm willing to give on the colour scheme, but the rocket-boots are a keeper.

Nightcrawler was always very religious.
He just occasionally liked to flirt with the ladies.
One of his favorite exclamations was "Saints and Angels Preserve Me!"
