Looks like they're looking to Frist! :p That would be comedy. He's so fucked by Abramoff and the infamous, "She's as alive as you or I," that I think John Kerry could even beat him. If the Republicans want to keep control of the White House they need a moderate, intelligent guy with no coruption taint like John McCain. And don't start telling me about his taint and how dirty it is. I wasn't talking about that kind of a taint.

McCain is the perfect candidate for the Republicans. He is a Republican shadow supporter under the guise of a moderate, but he is really a kiss ass. However, he seems to not have told the GOP he is for whatever they want, so there is no way he is getting in.

McCain is dirty as well, he was one of the Keating Five. Before then he got a good deal of money in kickbacks from his father-in-law by manipulating the state liquorboard.

Frist? No way in hell.

McCain? Nope. I used to like him but the last election and looking more into his past really soured me on him.

How can you respect a man who hugged and supported a man that insulted his military career?

Of the Republicans I think he's the cleanest and the most moderate. Lets not forget the Dems are just as dirty. It all sucks, really. Its the machine that fucks it up. Even if you want to play clean you can't or you'll get rolled over.

Moderate? As compared to what? He's conservative when you get down to it.

I wish I could find the post but somebody talked about this before.....

I would perfer to see a Gulliani-McCain ticket although if the Reps wanted to win it in a landslide Condi and McCain or Gulliani

For now, Condi's popular. I have a feeling the next two years are going to be a disaster for our country and the world and I don't think anyone in the current admin will have a chance.

Condi??????? No way in hell and I don't think she could win.

For example; my mom could be labeled a Femnazi and she said she should would not vote for her. Many of her femnazi friends said the same.

America is barely ready for a black president.

America is not ready for a women president.

A black woman? Probably not going to happen in our life time.

America is ready for either a Black President or a Woman President. Not both.

And as I've said before, a black one at least fifty years before the woman. :P

Seriously though...eh...If'n one ran they'd have a bit of help from the votes they'd get just for being different....

Very true. Alas, there are not very many women in politics that are not incredibly polarizing.

Oh yeah, her. Well, f*ck her for the lying under oath thing, and f*ck the republicans and their blatant hypocritical double standards thusly.

Frist? Are they really so corrupt -- so-out-of-control crooked -- they're starting to think it's a selling point? No, it's not going to be Frist. It's Frist tonight just because they all drink like bastards at those big party parties, but when it comes down to it, he will not be the nominee.

Though he could be the running mate.

This question was posed on Chris Matthews' show tonight: Will the republicans stick to the extreme rightwing -- relgion, anti-abortion, etc -- or will they try to go moderate? Nobody had an answer. It's too early.

Ha. Your femnazi mom is right. Condoleeza Rice makes me cringe. What's the femnazi equivalent of an "Uncle Tom"? She could play both parts.

It makes me nuts to hear all this talk about Condi and Hillary. They're not going to get elected to anything. Americans are under pressure, and everybody knows that pressure turns every American outside of a large coastal city (where they let Jews in) right back into the racist, sexist crackers they've always been, underneath.

I think you grossly under estimate the American people. Personally I think they would choose her by a vast majority over the current crop of names that keep popping up. The only thing that would disqualify a black female from wide spread support would be if she were a democrat, but that will disqualify anyone no matter what color their skin.

Depends on which american people you are talking about. There is Jesus America and the United States of Canada and they vote differently.

Apparently, so is the America where non-Republicans are allowed to vote, according to you. A Democrat candidate will not be automatically disqualified among Democrats -- or among non-Democrats who are not rabid, unthinking partisans.

The vast majority will not elect a democrat for president simply because they have lost the support of labor and the common belief that they cannot be trusted with national defense under any circumstance. It is going to cost them millions of votes that will go to an independent which will hurt only the democrats. Look for them to try and sue the pants off anyone attempting to get their name on the ballot. Democrats are far fewer than they were a few years ago and if you go take a look at their own projections they are aware that for the next generation they are looking at a best case 60/40 split. It is really just a matter of the way the pendulum swings. The best we can hope for I am afraid is grid lock. At least neither side can do the degree of damage they can without it.
