Hallo, folks!

I was just listening to an swingin' OC Remix of a Legend Of Zelda song, and I was reminded of an odd fact. I am left-handed, but for some reason I can only snap the fingers on my right hand. I do it all the time, but only with the one hand... Now that I think about it, it is really odd. Anyone else afflicted with this strange quirk, or something else biologically bizarre?

I'm right-handed and can only click with my left hand.

i can raise my eyebrows seperately. as glitziness might attest to (being jealous of ;))

i'm getting pretty good at it - aiming for that special Jack Black standard though :P

I'm right handed and can only snap my left.

Also I can bend the tips of my thumbs backward until they're at a right angle to the rest of my thumb. This resulted in scaring the crap out of someone while practicing martial arts, grapling class IIRC, one day. I bent my thumb back and acted like he'd broken it. The shocked look on his face was kind of amusing.

I can't do anything special... the only thing that makes me strange is my inability to do normal things like roll my tongue, raise my eyebrows, whistle... *sobs* :p

edit: i can snap both fingers and that was natural... does that count as something?

I used to be able to snap with one hand only, but made myself learn to snap the other hand too. That was a good waste of time.

Hmm. The only thing I can think of is that I can wiggle my ears ... one at a time. :D

edit: oh and i can click both my fingers equally well. but i can only use the index finger of each hand - not the forefinger (just doesn't work)

you have yet to hear a proper rendition (i felt stupid in the restaurant hehe)... though its not like they're actually tuneful or anything... but still cool damnit! and you shall get many cuddles (and massages!) tomorrow :P

Left handed in all ways except throwing. Baseball coach almost cried when we found out I could throw, but with my right hand after I showed up with a left handed mitt...eh, hated baseball anyway, only played that one season.

I'm double jointed pretty much everywhere. My knees bend backwards like an ostrich. I can even walk that way (though very awkwardly...)

Oh yea, I can completely raise either eyebrow independently of the other.

I had forgotten about my inability to whistle... That one actually has a logical explanation, though. I was born with a clef lip and palate, which simply means that my upper lip is a bit undersized and my jaw does not quite line up, thereby ruining natural whistling and wind instruments. On the upside, it means I can touch my tongue to the tip of my nose with ease.

Add it to the list...

P.S.: About the ambidexterity thing, I actually do most things right-handed (computer mouse, violin, piano (Well, that is both, but mostly right), and such things). I write with my left, though, and throw with it as well. Ask me to raise a hand, though, and I tend to put up the left.

I can snap in both. Give me a coOkie!
