I believe GOD has excused himself of using rain as a method of teaching human's a lesson. At least that was what I was told in church as a kid.:)

Not really.The combination of Guardian ( although I could mention other papers too ) and 'could' is quite enough to remind me that the principal claim to fame the Guardian has is based on design, not content ...
