What do you think is the best uniform ever?
Anything from Police, Military, Cheerleading etc etc qualifies.

it is the ultimate uniform ensemble, uniform with a gun, a hat, a mustache, and possibly eyebrows. :p
Well, this isn't really a specific uniform, but for say, a manager for a sport, just a black suit. Can't beat the plainness.

I saw this pic of a viatnamese general once (in a documentary or something). Anywyas the guy is really old, prbly a vet from the Vietnam war, and hes got this white dress uniform on, gold buttons, one single medal, it was perfectly mantained, and the white was like, wonderful. I thought it was excellent it is simplicity.

The Cheyenne Dog Soldier/Warrior/Man

You will note in this picture the length of cloth he is wearing which rolls down to the ground before him is actually locked in place by a wooden peg.
This peg was struck when the Dog Soldier was showing he would not retreat--under any circumstance.
He would often do this to ensure his brothers would have time to make their escape. Only the most brave were given the honor of wearing this cloth and peg, and it was not taken lightly.
Once the peg was set, the man would not leave that spot except for three reasons:
His death.
The death or total retreat of his enemies.
If a more respected member of the party sharply chastised him to 'go'--as if speaking to an ill trained 'dog'.
It was however rare to find many men of equal par to the men who wore the sash and peg. Many men earned their place among the society by holding against 6 or 7 enemy warriors.
The Dog Soldier has the Best uniform.

How do you hide in the bushes with a hat like that sticking up and waving in the air?
I kind of like the Native Americans' uniforms --- a thong, or nothing at all.

The Officer's Dress Blue A's are the best. The drill team at Eighth and Eye puts a slick spin on it with the blue coat and white trou.

I'd have to agree: USMC dress uniform; even though I served in the USAF and thought our formal uniform looked pretty good, it didn't compare to theirs.

Even though I was in the Army I'll have to agree that the USMC has some very fine uniforms. Our normal Army dress uniform looks like crap, however.

I agree, the Marine men's dress uniform very nice looking. But the women's uniform is aweful, especially the cover (unless they've changed it recently, then, of course, my apologies.)
