What? Yes, I am a biased bitch because I paid for my damn education and these greedy assholes walked off the job, refusing to accept a damn nice offer in return for NOT striking.

OPSEU spokesman David Cox said the key issue is the quality of education at the province’s 24 colleges.
Class sizes and teacher-student ratios are of particular concern, he said, adding the colleges’ latest offer did not address the issue.
“It’s not a question of money; we’ve got a nice salary and nobody’s complaining about that,” Prof. Rod Donne said as he picketed outside George Brown College’s downtown faculty of hospitality and tourism.
“We want smaller classes and really, less part-time teachers.”
...
“I feel really bad for the international students the most,” said Donne, who teaches culinary training.
“Some people overseas are making quite a sacrifice to send one of their children here.”
...
Rick Miner, chairman of the colleges’ committee of presidents, said in a statement that OPSEU had rejected a good offer.
He said colleges were willing to increase the top salary for faculty to more than $94,000, with no increase in workload.
Honestly? The class sizes are NOT that big of a deal. These people need to grow a damn thicker skin. Why? My biggest class has been like 30 students BEFORE the people start dropping the class; now, then you've got an average of 25 students per section and most profs have the same number if not less than a high school teacher in terms of students. Plus they don't HAVE to track down every little bastard who doesn't submit their work; call parents etc...
Seriously? These people need to get back to work.
I paid to go to school and I'm pissed off (despite that my tuition isn't that high). So... imagine how all the foreign students must feel...
