RIP Edgar Stiles (An American Hero has died)
24 fans, Edgar Stiles has died today. I was crying at the end of the episode. He got the silent count he deserves. I think this is silent count #4. The previous ones were Terri Bauer, George Mason, and Ryan Chappelle. I think CHappelle's was the saddest because he had tears streaming down his face and no friends.

He died trying to save a co-worker. I just was in tears when I saw that he walked into the main floor after they sealed the room. Then when he fell I was in tears. He's with his mother now.

Her death was the best thing the 24 production team did.
She was a moaning goody-goody bitch, In RL, a man like Bauer would have never gone with that Terri Buaer character.
My favourite 24 characters were Nina Myers and Cherri Palmer, strong women who would do anything (inlcuding dead bodies) to get what they want.
Villans always make better fictional characters IMO.

I agree with Terri's death being the best for the show, not just for her character, but more so for the effect on Jack. Jack Bauer is a different man in seasons 2-5. Terri's death is the reason. Jack became a better character. The first evidence of this was "I need a hacksaw."

Tony is alive and making an amazing recovery. Talking and walking. Tony's recovery is even better than his Season 3 one.

I watch TV shows on The History Channel (but recognize the bias and glossing over that they do), Law & Order, and Battlestar Galactica, along with the new Japanese Imperialism: anime.
Law & Order doesn't always get things horribly realistic, but the law is usually dead on in it.
Battlestar Galactica has obvious religious undertones (much more obvious than those in TNG and DS9, IMHO), but certainly doesn't try to persuade people to feel good about torturing others. Hell, it goes out of its way to make the Cylons seem human (which they are, practically).
Oh, yes, and I watch Family Guy and the odd episode of The Simpsons, Futurama, and American Dad. I don't think those shows are blatent propaganda, although my sister feels overwise.
And, yes, those damn, Godless commie Smurfs should rot in their own little rotten commie hell.
