It may be just because I'm currently over-sensitive at the moment, but have there been an over abundance of threads about love lately?
Ordinarily, I wouldn't mind, but frankly, it's been driving me NUTS!

Speaking for myself, I just happen to be in a situation in which I'm forced to think about it a lot...
Everyone's in heat now, eh? Lol.
I know I am. Though just marginally more so than I usually am, but it may be due to a period of being really busy at work finally coming to an end, and my libido rebounding.

We don't have an overabundance of love, that would be acceptable, if trite, what we have is an overabundance of "wuv." Love involves grand gestures and sacrifices, and can actually be inspiring to an outsider. "Wuv" is cheap, cute, and thoroughly nauseating to an impartial viewer.

Yes, but one should be ashamed of wuv, and deigning to engage in it is one of those grand sacrifices. Wuv for its own sake is terrible and awesome in its stupidity.

Well...Those little chalk heart things with the word wuv on them are cheap, cute and nauseating...

but here in general we talk about whatevers on our mind, and basically humans are designed to think about love a lot
