I have made it once.

i promised to kill somebody years ago i never really intended to kill, that always made me feel kinda bad... they may well have deserved a good killing but i certainly wasn't the fella to do it.

well it was like this, a friend of mine at college told me she had been date raped, i said without thinking "do you want me to kill him?". she said yes and i was kinda stuck, so i said sure, then made sure not to bring the subject up again because i knew i wasn't going to. i felt kinda guilty about the whole situation... sometimes i have a big mouth.

I tend to make only promises, that I can keep and I won't regret.

i promise my sister i'll play mastermind jnr with her tomorrow, or read her a story another night. i usually regret this because i generally have no intention of doing so, and six yr olds never forget

yeah, same for me. i like to assure people i'll do things, but i'm unwilling to promise unless there is no chance of me failing to do it. i don't like it when promises are broken, so i try not to do it myself

But the girl thankfully retracted her death sentence after some friends & I introduced the rapist to our bats.
