But then, it condemns pretty much anything you can think of. Strict adherence to the NT would only be nominally more fun than strick adherence to the OT.. And either involves slaughtering, bruning & maiming your way through the vast majority (probably 100%) of the human race.

No actually it doesn't condemn homosexuality.. what it does condemn is the rape of male two angels by the male population of a city.

And i'm not really sure it even does that.. see if i could talk to the people who wrote the original version of the bible, then i'd know.. but when you translate a book thru the centuries and then pepper it when the translations that best suite the government of the time and the abiding moral view of the church in power at the time, it's bound to be just a little off message by the time it gets to 2006..

Most Christians here are a bit more unorthodox. Assuming I understand them, it's all about acting in the spirit of what Jesus - and him alone - did, according to the Bible, and believing that people who do that will pass through the pearly gates. Meaning even blasphemous heathens like me get to go to heaven.

All that said, I am pretty sure about the Bible damning homosexual relations, both in the new & old testament. Maybe there's a free online copy of it somewhere?
