I'm trying something new here:
Seems a lot of the threads on this section are either very positive or very negative and nothing in between.. so here's my idea.. post something positive about an issue or anything really you find negative..

ALSO COULD WE PLEASE NOT HIJACK THE THREAD BY GOING OFF ON WILD TANGENTS?? Bare with me this is an experiment in thinking outside the box.
Also could we not debate each others positives and negatives PLEASE? ALL i am asking for is a positive and negative not a 9000 page debate and insult thread, there are so many threads like that already.. which is why I'm trying something new..

I'll go first:
Something positive about the religious right: They know how to get their message out effectively and efficiently.

The Holocaust: it effectively completely wiped out anti-semitism in Germany, Great Britain, and the United States. Well, most of it, anyway.

While I dont agree with the ruling on Kirpans being allowed in school, I think it symbolizes something very noble ...to fight against injustice and oppression.

Modern capitalism: Through the diverse consumer market and its effect on culture, it is reducing prejudices and destroying puritanism.

Pedophiles: At least THEY are enjoying it...

Stupid people: it's funny when their stupidity hurts them instead of other people

I am POSITIVE I do not like Hillary Clinton and I am POSITIVE I will not vote for her if she gets the Democratic nomination for President. :D

Post-Modernism: Warns us against presupposing that how we think the world is really is the case. . .in my opinion.

Thank goodness we're getting more transparency in government in Canada, even if the new Prime Minister has to held accountable by the ethics commissioner after-the-fact.

Drugs and Alcohol - They destroy lives and families, but for some people who already don't have either, they sure do make life livable sometimes.

Islamists - at least they know how to get people loyal to a noble cause (if you ask them, that is)
