Which of the following epiphanies would be the worst to have?

Worst in the eyes of broad society, worst in terms of the eyes of our friends, worst in our own eyes....? I'm not sure what you want, so I'll vote according to what would be worst to my friends and say racism, as I already suffer from somewhat paranoid delusions and there really is no spoon.....the rest, soul-crushing as they may be (except that non-soul thing), are really not going to keep me from being friends with my current crowd, except for that whole therapy schedule for those issues.

I would say in your own eyes. What would make you feel lowiest/least worthy of life/&c.

Perhaps what I meant was that you don't have emotions or feelings... I could go into the religious side and say, "How would you feel if you woke up one day and realized that you're a demon with no soul?" But then the militant Atheist crowd would jump me for such silly, superstitious thoughts.

Specifically, that I have no soul. Not being human, I could deal with. Being a pedophile, I could control myself. Same for being gay. Sadism... I am somewhat sadistic, but I have an outlet for that - I play violent computer games.

I'd say realizing I'm a pædophile. I've already realized I have no soul and it's no big deal now. There are entire political parties and webforums catering to racists. Some (if not most) of the most powerful countries have been lead by sadists. I probably wouldn't care if I had delusions if I was delusional. As for the sexual orientation thing, I would probably just laugh at such a silly mistake. However, pædophiles never have and never will be accepted in society, plus there's the constant temptation and the pressure of keeping it secret, easily worse than the others.

Well people tend to hate pedos (and hurt them in very unamusing ways, at least if your the one being hurt) so im gonna say this ones the worst.

I think finding out I was a Pedo would be worst, I could get over being gay pretty easy and all the others for that matter, hell even discovering no soul would at least give me soemthing interesting to think about; I mean if I have no soul what happens when I die?

I think you re-awaken after a few days, not knowing you're dead, and wreak havoc about your old life until Francesco Dellamorte, the cemetery man, tracks you down and lobs off your head/shoots you, then drags you back to your grave.

'Course, I could just be thinking of Dellamorte Dellamore (http://imdb.com/title/tt0109592/). I sometimes get confused.
