Well, lately I have been having weird-ass flashbacks, usually triggered by music, could there be a "meaning" in all this?:(

Yes. It means you've done too much acid.

Do you mean like memories-resurfacing flashbacks, or do you mean like weird-psychotic-break, go-to-a-mental-institution flashbacks?

Oh Hobo (try saying that a few times, it's an AWESOME phrase), I didn't want you to have to find out like this.....it's the cancer, darling. They're going to have to operate.
Or maybe you've just been repressing all these years. Or maybe it's normal. I get "flashback"-esque experiences from music and stuff.....are you a musician, or do you have a deep personal connection to this music?
even without acid it is understandable, although usually a syptom of a troubled mind - say one suffering from post-tramautic stress disorder (PTSD). It is suspected that the brain processes music by association with emotional states, and it is known that the areas of the brain which are "activated" when listening to music are the same ones which are "active" when recalling memories. PTSD, a far too inclusive term in my opinion, is considered a usual suspect for flashbacks - during certain traumatic events the brain ceases to process the information it is recieving and stores it in memory unprocessed, later these memories are "triggered" and the brain attempts to process them (or so the theory goes) resulting in a flashback. Aside from drugs, I would consider an occasional flashback as an attempt by the brain to process information from some period when it was overloaded with information with no negative connotations (years later odd bits of biochem lectures still come back to me, that man could talk fast), however more than three or four a year would send me to a shrink both to look for possible brain damage and some wierd repressed memory.

I wish I could play music, I am learning to play guitar, but usually it is songs that I feel deeply about that do, like I was listening to American Pie and just a flashback. I love that song. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! As for the cancer:mp5:

Happens all the time to me..i think its kinda normal..Your mind tends to put like things together...so if say..heavy metal gets you upset, and you had a very upsetting...car wreck...maybe if you hear the heavy metal you sorta go to memory of the car wreck.
