BTW, "light it up" is in reference to the exploding scoreboard that lights up and shoots fireworks for every Sox homer.

Your first two are the only ones that don't show your allegiance. As much as I loved "Ground ball stabbed by Foulke, he has it! He underhands to first, and for the first time in 86 years the Boston Red Sox are the World Champions! Can you believe it?", I doubt it's top 5 all time.

My number one would have to be "THE BAND IS ON THE FIELD! THE BAND IS ON THE FIELD!"

Joe Carter, Toronto, hits the first (and so far only) come-from-behind walk-off home run to win a World Series (Bill Mazeroski's famous home run in 1960 was hit with the score tied). The fourth game, won 15-14 by Toronto, is the highest-scoring game in any World Series. Toronto becomes the first repeat World Champions since the 1977-78 New York Yankees.

Unfortunatley I am not going to spring training this year, and my cable package doesn't carry WGN so I have to settle with highlights.

An announcer in my fair land has once said: "Gol! Pula gol." It was during a soccer match, and he didn't want to say it, but he was rooting for one of the teams. There was a tense moment, a shot, and... The first part translates as "Goal!". The second one, roughly as "Fuck it, it wasn't".
I never heard his voice again.
