I am listening to a mismash of stuff........my 4 year old singing a song for the children's musical, my 2 year old playing My little pony's and my husband on the phone with the cable company........

an exerpt from my blog today about why hubby is on the phone with the cable company.

so my husband called the cable company last night because they moved the weather channel to 66 and 66 doesn't come in on our T.V. and I really need the weather channel because at like 2am they put on really cool educational shows that I record for homeschool. The person from the cable company said there would be a tech in our area from 5:00p to 7:00p tonight, and that was fine since I would be home and stuff. Well, today the tech showed up at 10:00am and I was at work, he talked to my mom, broke my cable, and left. Instead of getting channels 3-69 I get channels 3-17 which btw is the regular non-cable channels, the channel guide, and 2 home shopping networks. :( I called to bitch about it, and they said that it's my fault that he didn't fix it because I wasn't home. Who the hell shows up for an appt. 7 hours early and expects you to be there?! Oh, and the reason that he said 66 didn't work? Because we had a playstation 2 and our DVR hooked up to the T.V. He claims that if you want the cable to come in you can't have anything hooked up to the T.V. except the cable, which btw is a load of bull and everyone knows it. He said that even having the cable modem hooked up was going to "mess with our signal", I want to know where the hell I am supposed to hook up the cable modem if not to the actual fricken cable..................
My gut instinct tells me that I am way too hormonal to deal with this, so I have delegated to hubby the job of dealing with the stupid ass cable company.........if I disappear for a few days it means that hubby is likewise pissed off and has shut off our service.

Oh, and they can't get back out to fix it until March 18th...........because I missed our appt.

I once heard a remixed version of "baby one more time" where someone took the original Britney Spears version and removed the vocal track. Then, they merged it with the vocal track from "Twist" by Korn.

Just the one on their own, (Into Submission), so far. They also have a split album with the band Buffalo, though I haven't heard it. And if I recall correctly, I think it was you who first mentioned them to me. :p
