There is an amazing game out there called The Movies. It has a large following. The premises of the game is to make a movie. But you might not want to stop there. You can even add dialouge and send the movie onto the web to be seen. The Movies site is here...

You can watch movies there and see all the news. The problem is this game is dying. Its creator Lionhead has made a desicion to stop making expansions and anything to do with the game. They also will bring down the site. So I announced on our forums for us to fight and make the game more popular.

The tycoon part of the game is relatively boring IMO. The movie creating part isn't too bad though.

There are also some issues (http://www.secretlair.com/index.php?/clickableculture/entry/the_moviesuser_created_content/) when you upload your stuff to the Lionhead website.

I found that the game had no staying power, just the same thing over and over again. I was hooked on it for about week then I drifted back to Hearts of Iron 2 and Americas Army.

Look it is meant to be a movie maker. That is the aspect I was trying to get across.

i wasted 50 dollars on the game and it didn't work. I couldn't get it all
to work so...

I recently posted a film there. It's a romance called "The Kindness of Sarah". There are several other films by that name, my username is rem1967. It's a VERY long film by game standards -- over 14 minutes. No spoken dialog, since I don't have the means to record it, and I made a few wardrobe mistakes, but overall, I'm rather proud of it.
