Forgive the few subjects to choose from, but there are a lot, and I had to narrow it down.

Please wait for the poll...
I refuse!
I choose accounting. Good subject, but I had a shitty teacher, and hated it.
History.
I love history.
That's why I'm doing a degree in it.

MathematicS, purely because the classes were populated by a mutlitude of oriental and indian pupils whose English was negligable, and taught by a similarly incompetant Arabic teacher. In England I would also interject.
I absolutely hated my last year literature class... the teacher insisted that her interpretation of the great works of assorted authors was the only viable one and anything else on an exam or homework was wrong. As any of you know, this is not a good attitude for a junior english class. Thing is, though, she didn't tell us what her interpretation was, and what we were supposed to write—just marked it wrong. Crazy woman.

Cool, any particular time period?
Well, it really also depends on the teachers... I seriously hated Geography *it was sooo boring and we had a teacher that could be really moody, or really late on a monday morning while we were waiting for her*. Then there was physics but i quite that years back and actaully managed to get my way into Uni without it, even though officially I needed it for my course (It's all IB's fault, can't do anything about it!:D ) *shouders at thought of teacher*, she was terrible, made me wait 3 hours once for homework that i actually had handed in, when she said i hadn't... She seriously has some issues/ mood swings, etc... I feel so sorry for her 2 children (they're still babies, but their live must be hell)

I really REALLY hate french. I am not in any way a linguist. Except in my native tounge. I try and be really over complicated in what I say. Plus due to ADD I find it really difficult to sit down and learn something. Supposedly I was the same with english to start with, and with reading (now I read a book in a day, easy). I just cannot get over the bump. Plus I have to do it for the next three years :(

Personally I hate English. What is the point in taking a language class when you already know how to speak the language? Sure for those of use who wish to become English scholars or something it is fine, but why should the rest of us have to suffer through it as well.

Renaissance and Brzantine personally.

I see your point, but i guess it depends on the teachers too, sort of. I had one teacher for two years and i thought she was soo boring, then i started IB and had her for english again, and the class seemed so much better for some odd strange reason

Cool, any particular time period?
I like the Napoleonic, Anceint Rome (about 350 B.C.- 10 A.D.) The American Revoulution, The Victorian Period, and I enjoy WW2 naval history. Oh, yeah and The Renaissance.
I voted biology, but only because I never took any biology classes in high school or university. If I studied it, maybe I'd love it, but I don't ever plan to find out. :p

I don't really hate any subjects, I am just uninterested in some....my kids are on a geography kick lately though and I find it terribly boring to try to learn the major countries in Africa and what rivers meet up with who and stuff, but they are liking it so I am teaching it.

All my sciences.
Science is fascinating but lessons at school are abysmal. Because of the huge focus on exams and the sylabus and the amount you're supposed to learn, no understanding is passed on and little decent explanation for anything or practical application of knowledge is given. It just revolves around learning facts without context or real understanding to use in an exam and then forget soon after.
(My Chemistry teacher also happens to be hopeless. Has a PhD and gets GCSE stuff wrong.)
The system screws up in similar ways in most subjects, but science is where it's worst for me. Partly because I'm actually interested in it and get frustrated not actually gaining anything worthwhile from the lessons - I've basically given up on lessons and just learn from the text book.

Why does Grammar have its own option? I never took any grammar classes. I hate math the most. Algebra was a waste of time.

For me, it's History with Algebra (but not Geometry!) in 2nd. I don't undertsand how all of the kids in my 9th grade World History class can hate it...I mean, I could spend hours looking at different maps and reading about the Romans, WWII, and the like, but they can barely stay awake in our 50 minute classes...what's funny is that I'm not even a "nerd"/"loser" either.

There's still no way I could possibly ever ever choose to spend a second longer formally learning science than I have to. Just physically impossible :P
I'll just keep educated myself. I could never not be interested in learning about science - I mean, I'm subscribed to online New Scientist emails! :P
And do Psychology *nods*

ugh, there are many really terrible. German was a bitch, but I stopped with it for half a year ago. Biology is really boring to, most of the time.
Technology is fine, but not with my teacher. It is not enough that he gives you at least 4 different answers on your questions, he changes the answers if the ask him the same thing again...
Technology history can be funny, but I have it the first to lessons monday.. gaaah :)

English is easy but boring. Couple that with the fact that I'm in Advanced Freshman English and my classmates can't understand the difference between nominative and objective case pronouns, and you have an annoying class.

you'd better, or many of my more nerdy conversations may fly over your non-sciency head ;) :D
actually thats less and less likely every year now as i forget pretty much everything i learned back in school :p
bah!
as for the OP: i hated latin the most. load of toss. why learn a dead language FFS? and a dead language with the most horrible and incomprehensible grammar rules, at that? :headbang: :headbang:
my second choice would be maths, but thats mostly because i hate academic maths and had a stream of shit teachers (3 in one year! woot!)
and then probably organic chemistry.... remembering pointless names of lists of hydrocarbons and how they react with stuff is just learning parrot-fashion and doesn't require any real undersanding or knowledge about the subject. learning about electronegitivity and intramollecular forces, how they interact with other forces and the like... that was more my cup of tea :) *liked physics :P*
