We've had Ninjas vs. Pirates. We've had Samurai vs. Knights. Now finally we have a contest that can be settled with hard evidence. A man wearing a "ninja-style" mask accosted a woman and chased her to her home. Her screams awoke her husband and he went to her aid with a .357 magnum revolver. Final result, armed citizen 1, ninja 0.

You know, I've never heard anyone use "defense against ninjas" as a reason for private ownership of guns. Someone should alert the NRA.

Yeah, but not for eating. They cut points and jagged edges on them, let them go stale and throw them at their enemies.

It would depend. A gun would give advantages to the citizen but there are a few idiots with weapons so the ninja could easily win with the training the ninja will possess.

Will if the ninja was a true ninja then the armed citzen would never know that he was going to be attacked by the ninja. In fact he wouldn't even know that he was being attacked by a ninja.

Assassins don't tend to post you a polite letter to tell you that they will be paying you a visit next tuesday between the hours of 9am and 1pm, so could you please endeavour to make sure you are in, and if not then please call back to arrange for a more convienient time.

Well this guy obviously wasn't a true ninje, the article says he had something in his hands that looked like a gun. COME ON PEOPLE, a true ninja would have used shurikens or a sword or a dagger, heck, I probably would have done a better job then this guy.
