I recieved my Girl Scout cookies, I went to the zoo for free, saw 147 of the 150 species represented, got something cool in the mail, finished a project that I had been working on for the past 2 weeks, and I found out my hubby got approved for financial aid for next year :D :D :D

so, how was your day?

good?

bad?

mediocre?

why?

Mediocre. I saw a cat get run over. Besides that, nothing out of the ordinary.

Mine wasn't really a day...more like 3 rolled into one. Overall it was pretty good. Did an interview for a scholarship, hung out with some friends; one is going off to the army so it was like a fairwell party, got a little closer to the girl I like :) , then it all kinda melded into the next day where I went over to another friends for another fairwell party; this time a friend is going to Germany, lots of alcohol at this one, played some pool, won poker again :( and just had a good time which somehow ended up with me back home doing homework. Really haven't slept or anything the last few days so I'll call it one big good, happy with friends day.:)

Oh, very good, very good. We got to leave high school a bit earlier this time. Then later I picked up my girlfriend and we went to see Date Movie, then we went to a good restaurant. Then I went back to her house and she said her parents were in Ottawa and then we went to her room and :fluffle: ;)

::EDIT:: it was yesterday, my bad:headbang:

Actually, although I voted mediocre, I consider any day I wake up as absolutely wonderfu! :D

Mediocre.

I was at the office from 9:30 am to 1:00 am.
Which I kind of makes it a bad day, I guess, but at the same time it wasn't so bad - no annyoing co-workers around & actually finishing up any super-urgent business that needed finishing up. (Also, I only work a day a week besides university, so it's not like I have to be there again tomorrow morning).

Well I guess today is a bad day for me, though no major complaints. Gradewise it was good. I owned to pop quizes. But I missed the qualifying time in track by 1 second, so I cant go to the meet:(

EDIT: On another note, the local girl scouts were at church yesterday and we got a box of Thinmints, a box of Tabalongs, and a box of Lemon Coolers. What cookies did you get Smunkee?

Mediocre.

Listened to the same old music, sat through the same old classes, argued with the same old people, came home and went through the same old routine. Nothing bad about it, I suppose, but nothing worth the title of good day.

My day was as bad as my days usually are.

Mine was pretty good. Me and the people in my region launched our first invasion and so far so good. But any more detail and this would be under game play.

Tag-a-longs
Do-si-does
All abouts
Trefoils
Cafe cookies (the new ones I haven't tried them yet)

I really cut down on my cookie purchases this year. (mostly because my freezer is full)

So did we... usually we get
2x Thinmints
1x Shortbreads
2x Lemon Coolers
1x Tagalongs

amature.

When I was in posession of a deep freeze my list was

5x thin mints
5x trefoils
6x tagalongs
8x do-si-dos
2x lemon coolers
4x all abouts.

and that was if I didn't have time to save up $$. We would have girl scout cookies year round :D

Edit: yes I have quite a rep about Girl Scout cookies too, the girl I bought them from had never met me, but she said that the first 9 people she asked said "you have to go find Smunkee, really go find her now before another girl does, go now, come back and I will order later, go find Smunkee"

LOL

I have noticed that the tagalongs and the lemon coolers are less cookie for more money these days. It is up to 3.50 a box here.

us too.

that caught me off guard, I was sure they were like $2.00 a box last year.

Yah, exponential price raises while decreasing product quantity for the consumer, while however maintaing quality is either
a. brilliant
b. going to be the destruction of the girl scouts as we know it...

I thought I was having a good day.

I mean I got laid, watched a interesting movie and smoked a good cigar, all before noon.

Then somebody had to point out I haven't gotten my Girl Scout cookies yet...

Thanks a lot Smunkee.

My Sunday wasn't bad, although I did have to get up early (which always sucks on a day off). There was the Hong Kong indoor rowing champs on and I had (foolishly) entered and the race was at 10.15am, which meant getting up at 7.30 to catch the ferry so I could be there at 9.30 for registration.
After the race we went to an African restaurant, which was pretty bland (I was hoping 4 some spicy Moroccan-type food by alas). Should have gone to the Indian next door, but I'd never been to an African restaurant b4 and trying new things is always good.
Then for a drink, then home.
So all in all, an interesting day.

My day went very well. I got a huge deal on an expensive comic book and 3 CDs, and then yesterday I won tickets to a Nickelback concert in San Antonio from the radio. Sweet. :D

Quite terrible. I was going to attempt to finish a project that was due today, but the CD I had been using stopped working (and missed the deadline), found out that I have no money to my name because the bank made an error on clearing my last paycheck, then I made an ass of myself (more of an ass than usual, in any case) at work. I'm home now, drinking, hoping that tomorrow will be mediocre, as I can't hope for anything better...

Yesterday was better than "mediocre", but not as good as "good". Work was dull (doing something boring but fiddly), but our shiny new radio picks up Virgin, so I've been rocking along :)
Today likely to be the same, but without playing GT Legends as much in the evening. Busy, busy, but all for A Cause...

At least a lot of you guys had a good day. Mine was shitty. I'm not even supposed to be using my computer right now (and it's the most insane reason ever).
