I know this sounds nerdy, but I was just thinking of something random that I could put up that doesn't invovle politics. So post your favorite Star Wars character from any of the 6 movies.

Mine are:
1. Viceroy (Episode one)
2. Admiral Ackbar (Episode 6)

You deserve to be mocked simply because you chose someone, anyone, from Episode One. The only way you could be mocked any more would be if you chose someone from Episodes 2 or 3. :D

Mara Jade.
Talon Karrde.
Corran Horn.
Wedge Antilles.

Almost any character created by Timothy Zahn. I even started liking Luke a little bit when I was reading his books. :p

Definitely Jar Jar. He showed everyone just how capable Lucas was of resurrecting his science fiction epic with the taste and strong writing that made the original trilogy such a success…

OK now that I’ve finished with slurring Lucas crappy management of the last three movies he made, I’d have to say Yoda in the Empire Strikes Back was best. Yoda in the new movies was a joke (little green guys shouldn’t be bouncing off the walls with a light sabre).

Mine are...

1. The Stormtrooper who does the girlie scream in episode IV (the 1974 movie)

2. Boba Fett. I mean who else can have such a rep without actually doing anything in any of the movies.

3. Kyle Katarn. I know he's from the video games, but, quantifiably speaking, he's gotten more "screen time" than any other single character in the entire Star Wars universe.

Personal favorite is Thrawn

And now we get him back. After the somewhat distressing revelation of 'There is no-one left in these books that I like' following Joiner King/Unseen Queen (by the end of UQ, the only character I had /any/ sympathy left for was Ben Skywalker. Jacen was up there for about half the book, but then he blew it with his 'vision') I'm now looking forward to Outbound Flight as a break from all the moral-relativism-gone-bad ('Oh, there's no good or evil, so I can rip people's minds to pieces with no qualms whatsoever!' Jacen, Jacen, did you learn nothing?) and the outbreaks of Must Show More Of The Past. Oh, and for Thrawn. Because nothing beats Mitth'raw'nurudo.

Grand Moff Tarkin. Come on, how cool was he?

Vader was his bitch, and he LOOKED like such a great bad guy, without any sinister cloak or force lightning or big black armour.

And also Admiral Ackbar for his amazingness at stating the bloody obvious:

"Its a trap"
"Our cruisers cannot stand up to firepower of that magnitude"

And quite possibly "Shit is brown" as well.

In the "old" parts (IV-VI), Darth Vader and the Empire were certainly a lot more stylish than wussy Luke, bedside rug wookie, wrinkly runt Yoda and annoying crap like the Ewoks. Only person who didn't suck on the side of the Rebels was Han Solo.
A good point of how they royally messed up in their portrayal of the "Good" and "Evil" sides. No even remotely sane person would root for a wuss, a bedside rug and a wrikly runt

In the "new" parts (I-III), this was already better, and they actually had likeable persons on the "Good" side, but still lots of annoying crap there (JarJar Binks annoyed the hell outta me).

when they were filming that part, they had to do many, MANY reshoots. The original line was

Lea: "I love You"
Han: "I Love you too" (or some sappy line)

but they spent so much time trying to get the scene right, everyone was tired and everyone was sweaty... that when Carrie said her line, Harrison replied "I know."

and it was such a perfect "Han" line that they (to everyone's relief) decided to use it.

But Luke ceases to be a Wuss in RotJ. He forsook the road to Wussdom during the events of Shadows of the Empire.

why did it take friggin 28 posts to get an Obi-wan... he was the shit in Episode IV...

I don't consider Episodes 1-3 as star wars... just "brokeback"

EDIT: Then again brokeback destrys all three as a movie... maybe I give them too much credit... nevertheless they are a stain on human existance

Emperor Palpatine.

Darth Vader (Episodes 3-5 ... I just like watching a 'hero' fall; and for that, I can put up with the bad acting)

Someone mentioned a favorite ship before... so, I have to put in The Lambda Class Imperial Shuttle.
