Anyone Watching the Oscars?

So, is anyone going to watch the Academy Awards? I'd also like to know if there are any nominees you're rooting for. Me, I have not followed the movies that closely, but I am rooting for Philip Seymour Hoffman to win Best Actor. This is not just because he's from my hometown (the first exciting thing here in my lifetime). He's so good, its creepy.
Thoughts?

Hell yes, especially since Jon Stewart is hosting.

I have low expectations for any Oscar host. No one is as good as Billy Crystal.

I always watch the Oscars. I'm hoping that Brokeback Mountain will win a lot of stuff because i thought it was a great movie. I haven't seen any of the other movies nominated, which usually happens, i end up seeing them later. I think the only ones Brokeback will win though are best picture and best director. I think that Philip Seymour Hoffman will win best actor, Felicity Huffman will win best actress, George Clooney will win best supporting actor and Catherine Keener will win best supporting actress.

I don't understand what the fuss is about Brokeback Mountain. All I can think of is Jake Gylenhall and his superb acting, but that's about it. The movie was far too long, and some of the acting was sub-par. However, I'm biased against romances and westerns :).
