Well, the Olympic Closing Ceremonies are tonight

Achtung 45

And for over two weeks they brought joy and relaxation into our lives; well mine at least. But more importantly, they brought the world together, where politics and current events seemed to dissolve into oblivion and friendly competition reigned over all. But now it's over and we'll have to get back to our daily routine without the relaxing outlet of the winter olympics. What's worse is that tomarrow's monday, the most depressing day of the week. :( I'll just have to wait another two and a half years for the next Olympics.

Feel free to complain about the Olympics being over, reminisce about particularly interesting events, or anything else.

Despite the Men's Hockey being a bust, Canada had its best Winter olympics yet. Women's Hockey was a juggernaut, Men's Curling was incredible, and Cindy Klassen made history with five medals in one Olympics. What a great performance!

Also, I liked seeing Bode miller eat his words.

The premature celebration by Linsey Jacobellis in the Snowboard cross.

Ugh.

hockey was a real shame. i was wincing watching Canada get the shit beat out of them by Switzerland. After that, i was afraid was watching men's hockey, and guess what? We lost to Finland.

Other than that, W00T for 4th place! (or is it 5th?)

Hey.....know anybody that will want a (hold on, doing math....) 21 year old on their couch for two weeks. I'm assuming hotel rooms and such are going to be expensive and hard to find.

I don't think anybody I know wants some guy who doesn't remember his own age on their couch (girl?):D

sounds like somebody had trouble passing grade 3 math. It's okay, we all understand the pain. in fact, there's a support group for it now, Mathophobia Anonymous or something. :p

Were there any particularly hot Scandanavian women in this olympics? I didnt see any, but I would love to hear the stories and/or a link to a picture...
