Yeah, people here are taking our two countries' rivalries to a whole new level so close to the Olympic Hockey final. It's so fun to watch, and with the game starting in an hour, I find myself thinking that I'm supposed to be over this, but, boy, it's very hard to resist, this blood thirst. I want Finnish shins chopped into the bone!

It's sort of an idiom - we call it "the angry game," you call it the "staring game." I went with the Swedish one. Anyway, may the best team win. :)

Well, disturbing start of the game... 60-40 advantage Sweden, 1-0 advantage Finland... At least one can be sure of a nordic winner. (and I agree, I wan't some blue-and-white blood to spill...)

Edit: 60-40 puck-control and 1-0 goals, that is.

It could go either way, really... Sweden has more top individuals, but Finnish teamplay has been the best in the tournament. Antero Niittymäki might just be the person to turn tables in Finland's favour

Too bad we had another game solved by infamous Swedish luck (which Finland borrowed for most of the tournament, but apparently Swedes cashed back last night) instead of playing better.

It was a great, although frustrating game to watch, but in the end it was solved by luck. It always happens. Finland always has incredibly poor luck in finals
