I just checked the last page of the general forum. We're up to 2,073 pages of threads in total.

The last thread of the last page?

Is this something of which to be proud, or ashamed?

Or should we just be indifferent? Hmm.

Hmmm... maybe the really old ones should be moved to an online archive. It would probably improve the performance of this forums database...

Impressive nonetheless ;)

Alas, it is gone already.

It's kind of amazing how far this forum has come. I'm old, in NS terms. Really, it is amazing that this forum has continued in it's present state without devolving into spam and porn adverts.

Bravo, fellow Generalites!

Oh yippie and I'm off by 1 thread, damn.

I don't even remember why I posted that thread, or what happened soon after.

To be fair, some people's time and minds get preoccupied with determining the veracity of Walken's announcement of intent to run for office.
And San Andreas.

Why are all the posts from the oldest pages dated 01-01-1970 ? I'm puzzled.

Because back in the beginning, people on the primitive internet wanted to discuss politics and other junk, and thus, Nation was formed!

I do believe indifference is the desirable response.:D

Oh come on, you're implying conspiracy where there isn't much of one.
Just ask Eutrusca what it's all about. *nods*

Easy! Because NS is probably run on UNIX system, the date is stored as the number of seconds after 1/1/1970. On those posts, the date = 0, so the date is displayed as 1/1/1970.
