What Do You Think Of "The Breakfast Club"
Ritlinana

Yeah, I Know It's An Old Movie, But I Don't Think Anyone Has Made One Of These Yet, So I'm Making It, Concerning The Fact It's A Great Movie. Anyways, I Consider It A Great Movie, Lots Of Emotion, Etc. Etc. Only Part I Don't Like About It Is When The Wierd Girl Gets A Make Over From The Preppy Girl. The Wierd Girl Looks Better The Way She Was.

they filmed one scene of that movie at my old high school - the rest of it is at a school that is currently used by the cops.

No I'm not. I have now come up with a use for the "ignore list" feature. Which you are now going onto with your last nation. I don't know what it is, but your typing pretentiousness is like waving a red cape at me...

i'm not sure why, but it is hard to read. maybe because of the size difference between the capitol letters and the lower case one causing our eyes to adjust to read them

It not having aged well is why it's so fun to watch. I get all nostalgic about the 80s, and I only spent my first seven years in them.

Yeah, I can certainly see that. It came out my sophomore year in high school, and when I saw it (on this newfangled thing called a VCR), I was convinced that it was the deepest, most intellectual film ever made because it just spoke to me on a level I'd never experienced before. :D

Of course, I shouldn't point fingers. While Breakfast Club never did much for me, I had that same kind of epiphany with St. Elmo's Fire. Now there's a masterpiece for you.

I have to say "aww," too. I love its stereotypes and corniness, not to mention its direct conservation of what culture was like back then, from the hair, to the fashion, to the industrial design... *sighs*

AllCoolNamesAreTaken, Randomlittleisland, and BackwoodsSquatches, knock it off with the pointed ignores. If you don't want to read someone's posts, you don't need to advertise it, and you surely don't need to post "This message is hidden because Ritlinana is on your ignore list".
Yeah, I'm Back With A New Nation. I'm Sure 10% Of This Forum Is Happy, The Other 90% Pissed As Hell.
Sounds to me like you are deliberately trolling for negative impressions. That doesn't sit very will with us either. If lots of your posts are devoted to defending your 'style', then you're deliberately wasting everyone's time. Knock that off too.

using caps at the start of all words slows people down when reading, its just the way people have adapted to reading the english language, when your reading all lower case and you come upe to a capital it slows you done, even if it is just a slight not even significant pause, it still can add up when reading a paragraph or even an entire book.
my source for this is my freshman english teacher, its just one of those useless facts that just linger around in my head

a movie where each steriotypical student forms a bond with each other and seems to become friends...
too bad they don't show the next day...
But it was a good movie.

The first hour or so was good, and Paul Gleason was brilliant as the principal, but it deteriorated into a sickly cheese-fest long before the ending.
The dope scene and its 'lets go crazy' aftermath was ridiculous and the section where they all sit on the floor taking it in turns to cry was nauseating.
Given all that, however, it's still a far better film than shit like American Pie 2 or She's All That.
