As opposed to the president we have now whose speeches only evoke a kind of patronizing amusement, and only become creepy when you give some thought to what he actually said and stack it up against what he actualy does.

Being opposed to the military guarantees that you'll lose. We Americans support our troops.

I wholeheartedly agree. First, Christopher Walken in '08, then another Clinton in 16. I'm thinking Chelsea. She'll be of age then, right?

Well, with all the cuts to the VA, and with the diminishing standards in the military recruitment effort, not to mention the stratified hazard pay, and the hiring of "civilian contractors" for 100 times the salary of our troops for the same jobs, I'd have to say that Bush is opposed to our troops. Especially since he got the department of propaganda (FOX news) to say that a prayer service in the honor of the troops makes up for them not having body armor. All of that definitly leads me to believe that Bush opposes our troops. His supporters are just stupid enough to believe his pro-troop rhetoric.
Just like there are a few people out there that bought OJ's pro-Nicole rhetoric of "well, if I killed her, it would have been because I loved her very much."
Being opposed to the military guarantees that you'll lose. We Americans support our troops.
Unless we're Republicans. In which case we say we support them, but we send them off to die for rich people's crap, eliminate their survivors benifits, cut VA hospital benifits, threaten to veto legislation to improve their health insurance, and refuse to give them body armor. But at least we put those shitty yellow bumper stickers on our cars. That'll make all the difference.
Old, hoax, and Jon stewart would kick his ass as a president.
