Anybody else watching the game? Kick off is in 15 mins.
Can anybody see past England winning, or do you believe that after Scotlands win against France and their loss away to Wales that the home crowd will lift their game to beat the World Champs?
Oh, and for those who don't know what it is, its the annual rugby fixture within the 6 Nations rugby competition between England, France, Ireland, Wales, Italy and Scotland.
what?
Is it held in Calcutta?

Nope:
The Wiki link below pretty much explains the history.

3-3 approaching half time and England are in the Scottish 22, about 5 metres from the line.
Might be able to go in with a try...

But no, Ben Cohen knocks the ball on.

What I want to know is... is England back near where they were in 2003, when they were clearly the best team in the world and won the '03 Rugby World Cup?
Cripes, it seems as if they haven't even been the best team on the island of Britannia since then.
Are the Three Lions back on top, or at least near the top of the rugby world again? Application (or, proof) of that: Could they compete with the Springboks, All Blacks and Wallabies consistently and beat them at least occasionally?

Are Dallaglio and Wilkinson back to full strength?

They could beat them occasionally. The forward pack is very very good, but the backs are a bit inconsistant. But without Martin Johnson and Johnny Wilkinson they lack the stars they once had. Dallaligo is ok, but getting on a bit.

Are Dallaglio and Wilkinson back to full strength?
Dallaglio is kinda, but Wilko is out pretty much.
And its now 6-6 after two swift penalties.
And Scotland have one now to make it 9-6...

Too damn close that was. Scotland slide into touch in the corner.

15-9, another penalty kick drops over.
The chance at a Grand Slam is going... 6 minutes left...
The only chance now is a try with a conversion then a penalty to make sure.

Thats it 18-12 to Scotland, two minutes to play and England put a kick into touch at a horizontal angle, unless a miracle comes now, thats it.
As a scottish person allow me to say this now: Ha ha ha!
I know I shouldnt gloat but we never win at anything so I'll take my chance

That was it. It's a fair cop, I've got to say. Their defense was excellent, and we kept getting turned over.
