Nobody understands how my mind works - except me, and it would take days to explain it to people (sometimes I subject my friends to explanations of new realisations as a result of my lastest introspection). Anyway, I like my mind, even if other people think it's rather bizarre - I love anything with intricate complexities and hidden interconnectedness. You'll just have to take my word for it that I'm entirely aware of who I am. Right, that's enough of being self-absorbed for one post...

I have several friends who do drag shows, a couple who are Transgendered and well a whole slew of anything and everything in between. Two of my friends were beaten so severly after leaving a club one evening, that they were admitted to the hospital for 3 weeks. One suffered a broken jaw and had his mouth wired together for a long time. The other lost sight in one of his eyes. 5 straight guys attacked them and none of them served any jail time. Well I take that back, they were arrested and released 2 hours later.

I'm not sure how that is scary.
I do wonder how you found the image, though? Trawling for "Malice Mizer", and innocently stumbled across it... or actively searching for "Mana"?
I'm not afraid to admit that Mana is gorgeous. Certainly, I would rather look at Mana in 'Gothloli', than... say ... Angelina Jolie.
Does that mean I am wanting to have sex with either of them... no. But, I am happy to admit that Mana IS beautiful.

Judging by its web address, he was looking through Wikipedia trying to find things by which to be offended.

Actually, I found it through Goth Loli. I don't remember how I got there, I got on lots of adventures through Wikipedia.
I think that is a Japanease (I'm horrible at spelling please don't flame me!!!)singer. I think that is part of his persona is dressing as a pretty girl.

It looks like it'd drain the blood from your neck, and the thing that disturbs you is it's gender?!?

Megh. At first I thought the picture would be sort of horrifying, and then I was ready to defend the "girl" as she doesn't look that ugly (just flat, noseless, and in definite need of a new hair dresser). Since it looks like the issue is that she is a he, I find myself unimpressed.

I was thinking more along the lines of hiring a decent hairdresser and not using a make-up/camera angle that causes your nose to dissappear. Not looking hideous isn't an artform, all it takes is getting a bit of constructive criticism, paying attention to make-up/shaving/sanitary processes, and trying to care what other people will think.
Really, what is the point of dressing like a woman if you're going to half-ass it?

Does there need to be a point? Besides, I have had a lot of fun half-assing it:

The make-up, lighting and camera angle are deliberate... you really aren't thinking 'in context'.
See the 'big eyes' and 'tiny mouth'? See the anime-style dress?
