How about Sex Type Thing by Stone Temple Pilots? I can't help but think it's about a guy getting ready to rape a woman.
I am, I am, I am
I said I wanna get next to you
I said I gonna get close to you
You wouldn’t want me have to hurt you too, hurt you too?
I ain’t, I ain’t, I ain’t
A buyin’ into your apathy
I’m gonna learn ya my philosophy
You wanna know about atrocity, atrocity?
I know you want what’s on my mind
I know you like what’s on my mind
I know it eats you up inside
I know, you know, you know, you know
I am a man, a man
I’ll give ya somethin’ that ya won’t forget
I said ya shouldn’t have worn that dress
I said ya shouldn’t have worn that dress
I know you want what’s on my mind
I know you like what’s on my mind
I know it eats you up inside
I know, you know, you know, you know
Here I come, I come, I come
I am, I am, I am
I said I wanna get next to you
I said I gonna get close to you
You wouldn’t want me have to hurt you too, hurt you too?

Portishead - All Mine
All the stars may shine bright
All the clouds may be white
But when you smile
Ohh how I feel so good
That I can hardly wait
To hold you
Enfold you
Never enough
Render your heart to me
All mine.......
You have to be
From that cloud, number nine
Danger starts the sharp incline
And such sad regrets
Ohh as those starry skies
As they swiftly fall
Make no mistake
You shan't escape
Tethered and tied
There's nowhere to hide from me
All mine....
You have to be
Don't resist
We shall exist
Until the day I die
Until the day I die
All mine.......
You have to be
EDIT: It's the way she sings it too. She won't let go. A real psycho.

Du Riecht So Gut in english is kinda... special.
Insanity
is only a narrow bridge
the banks are reason and desire
I chase you
the sunlight confuses the mind
a blind child that crawls forward
because it smells its mother
I find you
The track is fresh and on the bridge
drops the sweat, your warm blood
I don't see you
I only smell you, I sense you
a predator that screams of hunger
I track you for miles by scent
You smell so good
you smell so good
I follow you
you smell so good
I find you
- so good
I chase you
you smell so good
I will have you soon
Now I have you
I wait until it is dark
then I take hold of your wet skin
don't betray me
oh don't you see the bridge is burning
stop screaming and don't resist
because otherwise it will break apart
You smell so good
you smell so good
I follow you
you smell so good
I find you
- so good
I chase you
you smell so good
I will have you soon
You smell so good
you smell so good
I follow you
you smell so good
I find you
- so good
I touch you
you smell so good
now I have you
You smell so good
you smell so good
I follow you

Map of your head by Muse
Sample:
I'm sick of feeling my soul
To people who'll never know
Just how purposeless and empty they've grown
Because the language confuses
like computers refuse to understand how I'm feeling today
I'm freezing and losing my way
I don't need another map of your head...
The rest is here (http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/muse/mapofyourhead.html)

Either Shame by Stabbing Westward, as much because of the menace in the background of the song as for the lyrics.
I only see myself reflected in your eyes
So all that I believe I am essentially are lies
And everything I've hoped to be or ever thought I was
Died with your belief in me so who the hell am I?
I'm wondering 'round confused
Wondering why I try
The more that you deny my pain
The more it intensifies...
I pray for someone to ache for me the way I ache for you...
If you ignore that I'm alive
I've nothing to cling to
I stare in this mirror
So tired of this life
If only you would speak to me or care if I'm alive
Once I swore I would die for you
But I never meant it like this
I never meant like this
no i never meant like this
I don't know if I'm real without you
What is left of me without you?
I don't know whats real without you
How can I exist without you?
or Gone With the Sin by H.I.M. because if you weren;t paying attention to the lyrics you'd think it was a sweet, heartfelt ballad.
I love your skin oh so white
I love your touch cold as ice
And I love every single tear you cry
I just love the way you're losing your life
Ohohohohoh my Baby, how beautiful you are
Ohohohohoh my Darling, completely torn apart
You're gone with the sin my Baby and beautiful you are
So gone with the sin my Darling
I adore the despair in your eyes
I worship your lips once red as wine
I crave for your scent sending shivers down my spine
I just love the way you're running out of life
Ohohohohoh my Baby, how beautiful you are
Ohohohohoh my Darling, completely torn apart
You're gone with the sin my Baby and beautiful you are
So gone with the sin my Darling

Oh, it definately could be. The lyrics are definately suicidal, but the music feels too aggressive. I've always read it as a song about being on the edge, someone is going to die, the only question is if that someone is the singer or the object of his obsession.

My Bloody Valentine by Good Charlotte
Oh, my love, please don't cry
I'll wash my bloody hands and we'll start a new life
I ripped out his throat
And called you on the telephone to take off my disguise
Just in time to hear you cry
When you mourn the death of your bloody valentine
The night he died
You mourned the death of your bloody valentine
One last time
Singing...
Oh my love please don't cry I'll wash my bloody hands
And we'll start a new life
I don't know much at all, I don't know wrong from right
All I know is that I love you tonight
There was...
Police and flashing lights
The rain came down so hard that night and the
Headlines read "a lover died"
No tell-tale heart was left to find
When you mourn the death of your bloody valentine

Golden Showers by The Mentors
Listen little girl it´s near the hour
Come with me and take golden shower
Listen little slut, do as you´re told
Come with daddy for me to pour the gold
Golden shower, it´s getting near the hour
For a golden shower,
I´ve got the righteous power
All through my excrements you shall roam
Open your mouth and taste the foam
Bend up and smell my anal vapor
Your face is my toilet paper
Golden shower, I´ve got the power
For a golden shower,
I´ve got the righteous power
Our relationship I don´t want to spoil it
You are my personal toilet
Listen little girl
It´s getting near the hour
On your face I leave a shit tower
Shit tower, prune skin power
Smellin´ sour, it´s the shit tower
Golden showers,
It´s getting near the hours
For a golden shower,
I´ve got the righteous power

Total Eclipse of the Heart - Bonnie Tyler
Turnaround, every now and then I get a
little bit lonely and you're never coming around
Turnaround, Every now and then I get a
little bit tired of listening to the sound of my tears
Turnaround, Every now and then I get a
little bit nervous that the best of all the years have gone by
Turnaround, Every now and then I get a
little bit terrified and then I see the look in your eyes
Turnaround bright eyes, Every now and
then I fall apart
Turnaround bright eyes, Every now and
then I fall apart
Turnaround, Every now and then I get a
little bit restless and I dream of something wild
Turnaround, Every now and then I get a
little bit helpless and I'm lying like a child in your arms
Turnaround, Every now and then I get a
little bit angry and I know I've got to get out and cry
Turnaround, Every now and then I get a
little bit terrified but then I see the look in your eyes
Turnaround bright eyes, Every now and
then I fall apart
Turnaround bright eyes, Every now and
then I fall apart
And I need you now tonight
And I need you more than ever
And if you'll only hold me tight
We'll be holding on forever
And we'll only be making it right
Cause we'll never be wrong together
We can take it to the end of the line
Your love is like a shadow on me all of the time
I don't know what to do and I'm always in the dark
We're living in a powder keg and giving off sparks
I really need you tonight
Forever's gonna start tonight
Forever's gonna start tonight
Once upon a time I was falling in love
But now I'm only falling apart
There's nothing I can do
A total eclipse of the heart
Once upon a time there was light in my life
But now there's only love in the dark
Nothing I can say
A total eclipse of the heart
Turnaround bright eyes
Turnaround bright eyes
Turnaround, every now and then I know
you'll never be the boy you always you wanted to be
Turnaround, every now and then I know
you'll always be the only boy who wanted me the way that I am
Turnaround, every now and then I know
there's no one in the universe as magical and wonderous as you
Turnaround, every now and then I know
there's nothing any better and there's nothing I just wouldn't do
Turnaround bright eyes, Every now and
then I fall apart
Turnaround bright eyes, Every now and
then I fall apart
And I need you now tonight
And I need you more than ever
And if you'll only hold me tight
We'll be holding on forever
And we'll only be making it right
Cause we'll never be wrong together
We can take it to the end of the line
Your love is like a shadow on me all of the time

Into this world we're thrown

His brain is squirmin' like a toad
Take a long holiday
Let your children play
If ya give this man a ride
Sweet memory will die
Killer on the road, yeah
Girl ya gotta love your man
Girl ya gotta love your man
Take him by the hand
Make him understand
The world on you depends
Our life will never end
Gotta love your man, yeah

oh, I misread the title......I thought you were asking about the most frightening sound I had ever heard...........
but yeah song, I can do that.
Pink Floyd
Comfortably Numb
I know by itself it's not that creepy or frightening (or is it) so, I suppose you want to hear the back story........
It was May, in Oklahoma, and that means tornado season. I was at work and it was about 2p in the afternoon, it was sunny and pretty, and not 5 minutes later it was almost pitch black outside. It started raining and hailing, and the phone rang, it was my best friend Evan, he was stuck across town, all alone, outside, so I left work to go get him, the rain came down faster, harder, the street began to flood, it was so dark outside that I had to put on my headlights, I couldn't see more than maybe 3 feet in front of me, water was coming in the bottom of my door........the street lights weren't on (since it was daytime) and the road was empty, everyone was gone, everything was quiet, the rain slowed down, and I heard a siren, the tornado siren, I turned on the radio to see if I needed to pull off the road or if I had time to go further, I wanted to check and see where the touchdown was.........
when I turned on the radio there was static, I was frantically trying to change the station I could hear voices but not anything I could make out, finally I heard something almost decipherable so I slowed down and turned the knob slowly "Hello, hello, hello
Is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me.
Is there anyone at home?
Come on, come on down,
I hear you’re feeling down.
Well I can ease your pain,
Get you on your feet again.
Relax, relax, relax
I need some information first.
Just the basic facts.
Can you show me where it hurts? "
it freaked me out.........there I was on the road, in the rain, completely dark, no phone, nobody around, tornado siren going off, no where to pull off, no way to get help, nobody for miles, and that song.........they played it 4 times in a row, by the time the DJ got back on to explain that they were in the tornado shelter and had just fixed the broadcast so they could communicate from there I was driving up to my friend's work.........
anyway, yeah it freaked me out.

Or this one:
Dust In The Wind
by Kansas
I close my eyes
only for a moment
and the moments gone
all my dreams
pass before my eyes a curiosity
dust in the wind
all we are dust in the wind
Some old song
just a drop of water
in the endless see
all we do
crumbles to the ground
though we refuse to see
dust in the wind
Now, don´t hang on
nothing last forever
but the earth and sky
it lips away
And all my money
won`t another minute buy
Dust in the wind
all we are dust in the wind
dust in the wind
dust in the wind

oh, and I remember listening to a children's CD with my oldest when she was about 2, because she said there was a "mean song" on it, it creeped me out when we found it
GOOSEY, GOOSEY, GANDER
Goosey, goosey, gander,
Whither dost thou wander?
Upstairs and downstairs
And in my lady's chamber.
There I met an old man
Who wouldn't say his prayers;
I took him by the left leg,
And threw him down the stairs.
I threw away the CD, seriously that's not a nice song.
and Enter Sandman used to freak me out too.........

Sufjan Stevens - Seven Swans
We didn't sleep too late.
There was a fire in the yard.
All of the tress were in light.
They had no faces to show.
I saw a sign in the sky:
Seven swans, seven swans, seven swans.
I heard a voice in my mind:
I will try, I will try, I will try.
I will try, I will try, I will try.
We saw the dragon move down.
My father burned into coal.
My mother saw it from far.
She took her purse to the bed.
I saw a sign in the sky:
Seven horns, seven horns, seven horns.
I heard a voice in my mind:
I am Lord, I am Lord, I am Lord.
He said: I am Lord, I am Lord, I am Lord.
He said: I am Lord, I am Lord, I am Lord.
He will take you. If you run,
He will chase you.
He will take you. If you run,
He will chase you
'cause He is the Lord.
'Cause He is the Lord...
Seven swans, seven swans, seven swans,
seven swans, seven swans...
The instrumentation, background vocals, and lyrics all combine to make it a rather unsettling song.

Damn! Here I was thinking neo-nazi bands made the most horrible music. The lyrics aren't just bad, they're atrociously low quality.
I dunno...rhyming "vapour" with "paper" is pretty cute.
Thank you. Now it's stuck in my head and I'm going to have to stab myself in the brain to get rid of it. ;)
Your welcome.:D

Handsome Devil, by the Smiths, which happens to be the most catchy song about pedophilia ever written. I listen to it alot, but I can't pay too much attention to the lyrics.
All the streets are crammed with things
Eager to be held
I know what hands are for
And I'd like to help myself
You ask me the time
But I sense something more
And I would like to give
What I think you're asking for
You handsome devil
Oh, you handsome devil
Let me get my hands
On your mammary glands
And let me get your head
On the conjugal bed
I say, I say, I say
I crack the whip
And you skip
But you deserve it
You deserve it, deserve it, deserve it
A boy in the bush
Is worth two in the hand
I think I can help you get through your exams
Oh, you handsome devil
Oh, let me get my hands
On your mammary glands
And let me get your head
On the conjugal bed
I say, I say, I say
I crack the whip
And you skip
But you deserve it
You deserve it, deserve it, deserve it
And when we're in your scholarly room
Who will swallow whom ?
When we're in your scholarly room
Who will swallow whom ?
You handsome devil
Oh, let me get my hands
On your mammary glands
And let me get your head
On the conjugal bed
I say, I say, I say
There's more to life than books, you know
But not much more
Oh, there's more to life than books, you know
But not much more, not much more
Oh, you handsome devil
Oh, you handsome devil
Ow !
That's the official story. In fact, the devil just showed up to take what was owed.
When I see a photo of the Devil dragging the poor bastard off to hell, then I'll believe that he didn't drink a bottle of whisky laced with strycnine.

Way trashy, and probably just sick & funny, but I was way too young when I heard it... (the only time ever, I might add, so it obviously left quite an impression *shudder*).
In fact, the internet just told me it's a 1965 parody of the era's teen tragedy songs. Which I kind of didn't even know existed. Silly Americans.
I helpfully highlighted the worst parts for your reading pleasure. :p
I Want My Baby Back - Jimmy Cross
I want my baby back
Gotta have my baby back
I miss her oh so much
Can't live without her touch
[Spoken]
I don't hardly know where to begin. I remember we were cruising home from the Beatles concert. I'd had such a wonderful evening, sitting there watching my baby screaming, and tearing her hair out, and carrying on. She was so full of life. Then, well, we were about three miles from home when all of a sudden it started to rain. And I do mean rain. I couldn't hardly see nothing. Well, we kept driving for about another mile when all of a sudden I see this stalled car right smack in front of me. Well, I wasn't about to slam on the brakes 'cause I didn't have none to start with. So I swerved to the left. And what do I see - some mushhead on a motorcycle headin' right at us. And I knew at last me and my baby were about to meet the leader of the
[Crash sounds]
pack
Well, when I come to, I looked around
And there was the leader
And there was the pack
And over there was my baby
And over there was my baby
And way over there was my baby
I want my baby back
Gotta have my baby back
I miss her oh so much
Can't live without her touch
[Spoken]
It's been many months now since that fateful night. And you know something,
I've tried. Believe me, I have tried. But I just can't make without my baby. So
I've decided I'm going to have her back one way or another. Oh, baby, I
dig you so much. Hot dang, pay dirt.
[Digging and creaking]
I've got my baby back
Now, I've got my baby back
I love her oh so much
Can't live without her touch
I've got my baby back
Um, okay, Jimmy.

The first time I heard disgustipated by Tool it was under similar circumstances. It was dark, and I was stoned. Possibly shrooming too. Can't remember exactly. It was a little creepy.
69
Disgustipated
And the angel of the lord came unto me, snatching me up from my place of slumber. And took me on high, and higher still until we moved to the spaces betwixt the air itself. And he brought me into a vast farmlands of our own midwest. And as we descended, cries of impending doom rose from the soil. One thousand, nay a million voices full of fear. And terror possesed me then. And I begged, "Angel of the Lord, what are these tortured screams?" And the angel said unto me, "These are the cries of the carrots, the cries of the carrots! You see, Reverend Maynard, tomorrow is harvest day and to them it is the holocaust." And I sprang from my slumber drenched in sweat like the tears of one million terrified brothers and roared, "Hear me now, I have seen the light! They have a consciousness, they have a life, they have a soul! Damn you! Let the rabbits wear glasses! Save our brothers!" Can I get an amen? Can I get a hallelujah? Thank you Jesus.
Life feeds on life feeds on life feeds on life feeds on........
This is necessary.
It was daylight when you woke up in your ditch. You looked up at your sky then. That made blue be your color. You had your knife there with you too. When you stood up there was goo all over your clothes. Your hands were sticky. You wiped them on your grass, so now your color was green. Oh Lord, why did everything always have to keep changing like this. You were already getting nervous again. Your head hurt and it rang when you stood up. Your head was almost empty. It always hurt you when you woke up like this. You crawled up out of your ditch onto your gravel road and began to walk, waiting for the rest of your mind to come back to you. You can see the car parked far down the road and you walked toward it. "If God is our Father," you thought, "then Satan must be our cousin." Why didn't anyone else understand these important things? You got to your car and tried all the doors. They were locked. It was a red car and it was new. There was an expensive leather camera case laying on the seat. Out across your field, you could see two tiny people walking by your woods. You began to walk towards them. Now red was your color and, of course, those little people out there were yours too.

You know, The Police sing a few creepy songs, and sadly, Every Breath You Take is not the creepiest.
Can't Stand Losing You;
I've called you so many times today
And I guess it's all true what your girlfriends say
That you don't ever want to see me again
And your brother's gonna kill me and he's six feet ten
I guess you'd call it cowardice
But I'm not prepared to go on like this
I can't, I can't
I can't stand losing
I can't stand losing you
I see you've sent my letters back
And my LP records and they're all scratched
I can't see the point in another day
When nobody listens to a word I say
You can call it lack of confidence
But to carry on living doesn't make no sense
I can't, I can't
I can't stand losing
I guess this is our last goodbye
And you don't care so I won't cry
But you'll be sorry when I'm dead
And all this guilt will be on your head
I guess you'd call it suicide
But I'm too full to swallow my pride
I can't, I can't
I can't stand losing
I can't stand losing you

Around the lake tonight

My lover, be my lover, yeah...
Don't be afraid
I didn't mean to scare you
So help me, Jesus
I can promise you
You'll stay as beautiful
With dark hair
And soft skin...forever
Forever
Make up your mind
Make up your mind
And I'll promise you
I will treat you well
My sweet angel
So help me, Jesus
(hey, hey, hey)
Give it up to me
Give it up to me
Do you wanna be
My angel?
So help me!
Be my angel
Be my angel
Do you wanna die?
I promise you
I will treat you well

So help me, Jesus

Riders On the Storm, by the Doors
*snip*
While undoubtably a trippy song, it can by no means be called the most frightening Doors song. As evidence, I give you the extended version/proper version of The End:
This is the end
Beautiful friend
This is the end
My only friend, the end
Of our elaborate plans, the end
Of everything that stands, the end
No safety or surprise, the end
I'll never look into your eyes...again
Can you picture what will be
So limitless and free
Desperately in need...of some...stranger's hand
In a...desperate land
Lost in a Roman...wilderness of pain
And all the children are insane
All the children are insane
Waiting for the summer rain, yeah
There's danger on the edge of town
Ride the King's highway, baby
Weird scenes inside the gold mine
Ride the highway west, baby
Ride the snake, ride the snake
To the lake, the ancient lake, baby
The snake is long, seven miles
Ride the snake...he's old, and his skin is cold
The west is the best
The west is the best
Get here, and we'll do the rest
The blue bus is callin' us
The blue bus is callin' us
Driver, where you taken' us
The killer awoke before dawn, he put his boots on
He took a face from the ancient gallery
And he walked on down the hall
He went into the room where his sister lived, and...then he
Paid a visit to his brother, and then he
He walked on down the hall, and
And he came to a door...and he looked inside
Father, yes son, I want to kill you
Mother...I want to...fuck you
C'mon baby, take a chance with us
C'mon baby, take a chance with us
C'mon baby, take a chance with us
And meet me at the back of the blue bus
Doin' a blue rock
On a blue bus
Doin' a blue rock
C'mon, yeah
Kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill
This is the end
Beautiful friend
This is the end
My only friend, the end
It hurts to set you free
But you'll never follow me
The end of laughter and soft lies
The end of nights we tried to die
This is the end
Bold bits the most frightening... and these lyrics don't include all the fuck me, baby's that are in it after the mother bit... oh yeah, weird song. But I love it to death.

Ho about this one? "Onward Christian Soldiers"
1. Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
with the cross of Jesus going on before.
Christ, the royal Master, leads against the foe;
forward into battle see his banners go!
Refrain:
Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
with the cross of Jesus going on before.
2. At the sign of triumph Satan's host doth flee;
on then, Christian soldiers, on to victory!
Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.
(Refrain)
3. Like a mighty army moves the church of God;
brothers, we are treading where the saints have trod.
We are not divided, all one body we,
one in hope and doctrine, one in charity.
(Refrain)
4. Crowns and thrones may perish, kingdoms rise and wane,
but the church of Jesus constant will remain.
Gates of hell can never gainst that church prevail;
we have Christ's own promise, and that cannot fail.
(Refrain)
5. Onward then, ye people, join our happy throng,
blend with ours your voices in the triumph song.
Glory, laud, and honor unto Christ the King,
this through countless ages men and angels sing.
(Refrain)
Cannot think of a name

The Doors
Peace Frog
There's blood in the streets, it's up to my ankles
She came
Blood in the streets, it's up to my knee
She came
Blood in the streets in the town of Chicago
She came
Blood on the rise, it's following me
Think about the break of day
She came and then she drove away
Sunlight in her hair
She came
Blood in the streets runs a river of sadness
She came
Blood in the streets it's up to my thigh
She came
Yeah the river runs red down the legs of a city
She came
The women are crying red rivers of weepin'
She came into town and then she drove away
Sunlight in her hair
Indians scattered on dawn's highway bleeding
Ghosts crowd the young child's fragile eggshell mind
Blood in the streets in the town of New Haven
Blood stains the roofs and the palm trees of Venice
Blood in my love in the terrible summer
Bloody red sun of Phantastic L.A.
Blood screams her brain as they chop off her fingers
Blood will be born in the birth of a nation
Blood is the rose of mysterious union
There's blood in the streets, it's up to my ankles
Blood in the streets, it's up to my knee
Blood in the streets in the town of Chicago
Blood on the rise, it's following me

To hell with the Doors, to hell with Jim Morrison.
Here is a good one:
Oh death
Oh death
Won't you spare me over til another year
Well what is this that I can't see
With ice cold hands taking hold of me
Well I am death none can excel
I'll open the door to heaven or hell
Whoa death someone would pray
Could you wait to call me til another day
The children pray the preacher preached
Time and mercy is out of your reach
I'll fix your feet til you can't walk
I'll lock your jaw til you can't talk
I'll close your eyes so you can't see
This very hour come and go with me
In death I come to take the soul
Leave the body and leave it cold
To drop the flesh off of the frame
The earth and worms both have a claim
Oh death
Oh death
Won't you spare me over til another year
My mother came to my bed
Place a cold towel upon my head
My head is warm my feet are cold
Death is a movin upon my soul
Oh death how you're treatin me
You close my eyes so I can't see
Well you're hurtin my body you make me cold
You run my life right out of my soul
Oh death please consider my age
Please don't take me at this stage
My wealth is all at your command
If you'll remove your icy hands
Oh the young the rich or poor
All alike to me you know
No wealth no land no silver or gold
Nothin satisfies my but your soul
Oh death
Oh death
Won't you spare me over til another year
Won't you spare me over til another year
Won't you spare me over til another year

No doubt the most frightening song I've heard is Faaip de Oiad by Tool. But frightening in a good way. Lyrics are scary enough, but the "music" that goes with it just makes it better. If you've never heard the song, imagine a bunch of static, random drumming and a frantic voice saying:
I, I don't have a whole lot of time. Um, OK, I'm a former employee of Area 51. I, I was let go on a medical discharge about a week ago and, and... [chokes] I've kind of been running across the country. Damn, I don't know where to start, they're, they're gonna, um, they'll triangulate on this position really soon.
OK, um, um, OK, what we're thinking of as, as aliens, they're extradimensional beings, that, an earlier precursor of the, um, space program they made contact with. They are not what they claim to be. Uh, they've infiltrated a, a lot of aspects of, of, of the military establishment, particularly the Area 51.
The disasters that are coming, they, the military, I'm sorry, the government knows about them. And there's a lot of safe areas in this world that they could begin moving the population to now. They are not! They want those major population centers wiped out so that the few that are left will be more easily controllable.

For the child, for the child.
The child in all of us.

That, coupled with his lyrics, makes him a candidate for Excellent role model for people all over the world, like Madonna having a kid and suddenly deciding she knew best & how to tell ever other mother what they're doing wrong and what to do right.

oh, I misread the title......I thought you were asking about the most frightening sound I had ever heard...........
but yeah song, I can do that.
Awesome. *bows*

Lots of creepy songs here. Does anyone think China Girl by David Bowie is scary?
A Small Plot Of Land
that song f*cking ROCKS.
One of my alltime FAVOURITES.
Lyrically... "The Day I Tried to Live" by Soundgarden...
I woke the same as any other day
Except a voice was in my head
It said seize the day, pull the trigger
Drop the blade, and watch the rolling heads
The day I tried to live
I stole a thousand beggar’s change
And gave it to the rich
The day I tried to win
I dangled from the power lines
And let the martyrs stretch
Singing
One more time around might do it
One more time around might make it
One more time around might do it
One more time around
The day I tried to live
Words you say never seem
To live up to the ones inside your head
The lives we make never seem
To ever get us anywhere but dead
The day I tried to live
I wallowed in the blood and mud with
All the other pigs
I woke the same as any other day you know
I should have stayed in bed
The day I tried to win
I wallowed in the blood and mud with
All the other pigs
And I learned that I was a liar
Just like you
Musically, I can think of a lot more "evil" sounding songs. Black Sabbath's song of the same name qualifies...as does "Kuruimizu" by Boris, though the lyrics are in Japanese, and I have a hard enough time understanding that language when it is spoken slowly... :p

No, for sheer fear try listening to the studio disc from Pink Floyd's 'UmmaGumma'. There's this bit where it's all dreamy, ambient sound that gets slowly quieter and quieter, until you're completely relaxed - followed by a pronounced savage audio attack that's made my heart skip beats.
Bastard millionaires.

Lyrically... "The Day I Tried to Live" by Soundgarden...
I have a short issue with that song ... i heard the chorus line WITH A FEW OF THE WORDS in MY HEAD six months before the actual release of that album. The "wallowed" part. I was listening to the album outside my workplace on a sunny break, sitting in an alcove, when i was reviewing my album w/out interruption, and when i heard the chorus come on, my head flew back and hit the corrugated metal i was leaning against.
F*cking trip. Never forgetting that. Not just "deja vu" or that jazz of familiarity, it was EXACT.

I had two others.
I was in junior high when i heard the song, "Animal" from Def Leppard, in my head about a year before its release ... again, the chorus.
The other was "Leviathan" from Yngwie Malmsteen, and since there's no chorus, i'm not really sure why that was running through my head 2 1/2 years early.
I'm willing to let the second go as a coincidence, and even the "Animal" one, since that's not too foreign a chorus idea, but the hardest BY FAR was "The Day I Tried To Live".

I don't get it with music like that, but I once had a very "clear" dream where I went into a music shop and got served by a woman with a purple streak in her hair. My dreams are usually hazy in some way, but this one wasn't. It was about October last year.
Roughly 2 weeks later, I got served at a music shop by a woman with a purple streak in her hair, and I hadn't been there before.
...weird. :p

As soon as the first wave of "adjustment" passes, i try to get answers from people when that happens to me. On occasion, the person is also familiar with me too. But usually people don't want to indulge much.

Hm...well, as weird as it sounds, I rather hope some of them don't come true.
I have a habit of pre-empting people and saying what they're about to say, too. I blame coincidence, but who knows?

That's the problem with being rational - sometimes i don't know enough about a situation to make a good rational judgment .... and sometimes, for whatever reason, I JUST KNOW. *shrug*
Of course, there's always the "Bookey's Lament" ....

Prison Sex by TOOL is pretty disturbing. The bits about 'Do unto others what has been done to you', 'I need you to feel this. I can’t stand to burn too long.
Release in sodomy. the one sweet moment I’m whole'
and the end bit:
"I have found some kind of temporary sanity in this
Shit, blood, and come on my hands.
I’ve come round full circle.
My lamb and martyr, this will be over soon. you look so precious.
You look so precious now..."
Tilling my own grave to keep me level
Jam another dragon down the hole
Digging to the rhythm and the echo of a solitary siren
One that pushes me along and leaves me so
Desperate and Ravenous
I'm so weak and powerless over you
Someone feed the monkey while I dig in search of China
White as Dracula as I approach the bottom
Desperate and Ravenous
I'm so weak and powerless over you
Little angel go away
Come again some other day
The devil has my ear today
I'll never hear a word you say
He promised I would find a little solace
And some piece of mind
Whatever just as long as I don't feel so
Desperate and Ravenous
I'm so weak and powerless over you
Desperate and Ravenous
I'm so weak and powerless
over you
Can be a bit.... disturbing while high

I've had kinda similar things happen to me. Several times just as I'm waking up, a song goes through my head. A complete song, done by a particular artist. I hear the whole song through a couple of times. Yet when I'm fully awake and think about it, I realise that artist has never written the song I was dreaming.
My mind's made up a whole song in the style of a particular artist. It's weird.
What's annoying (and even more odd) is that I have no music talent whatsoever. I couldn't hum you my favourite tune - one I might have listened to 100's of times. It means that within a couple of hours I've forgotten how my 'dream song' goes, but I still can remember that I had the song going through my head.
It's pretty frustrating. Because I do also recall they were cool songs.

That happens to me sometimes, too. It happened with Bob Mould's "Paralyzed". I heard the synthesizer melody *and* the chorus melody in a daydream just a week or so before I ever heard the song.

I think they call that the "theta phase", and mine is usually in the descent, not the awakening (due the apnea, i immediately awake).
It was better when i was younger, and for some reason, it was usually jazz with an *EXCELLENT* saxophone part. Again, songs i'd never heard but the condition i was in made me think i loved it and was totally familiar with it. That was the first use i thought of after watching the movie Brainstorm with Christopher Walken ;) in it. That long ago.

Paul McCartney claimed he dreamt of "Yesterday", but because the melody was so complete (in his dream), he assumed he must have heard it on the radio.
McCartney being the talented sod he is (unlike me) immediately recorded the tune on a piano and then spent the next few weeks checking to see if it wasn't a ripoff. When he found out no-one had heard it before, he wrote some lyrics for it and the rest they say is history.
The most recorded song ever.
Just think. My dream songs could be those. Damn my tin ear! I should keep a bucket next to my bed to carry the tunes I dream in.

Im gonna say "My Humps" by Black eyed peas. The fact this song ever made it to existance terrifies me, and made me lose what little faith i had in the human race
Oh and Alabama song by The Doors too "show me the way to th next little girl...."....wtf, what a wierd song, but i do love it.
