Question for the Christians

Why do you believe in Christianity over other religions? I have heard numerous people give arguments as to why they believe in God, but why the Christian God and the connected beliefs? And faith cannot be counted as an answer since one can just as easily have faith in another religion.

Despite the title of this post, I'll expand. For anyone who is religious, why do you believe in your religion over a different religion?

I'm not trolling or looking for a fight; I respect most religions I'm just curious as to why one decides on one religion over another.

I think the best way would be to answer the latter question, and that answer would be because it was the first religion that they managed to practice successfully. About the best way I can explain it is a quote from somewhere:

"The real thing is not a path. The real thing is the authenticity of the seeker."
