Lots of people worked on the Moon Landings. Millions. Contractors, engineers, astronauts, administrates, even janitors. All would have to be privy to this "Conspriacy". Why have ex NASA employees, even those with an axe to grind, not come forth?

True to some degree. If NASA actually launched the rockets, but merely left it in orbit while they made a film of some sort in place of the landings, they could keep the conspiracy to a select few in mission control and the upper echelons of the government. Oh, and the astronauts.

I can't. However, they had the technology to do it and had invested vast sums of money. I see no practical reasons why they would fake it.

I used to think the Apollo landings were faked - but I changed my mind.

It would be damn near impossible to fake such a landing - technical reasons aside, the Soviets would have easily discovered such duplicity and made it known to the world.

I completely agree with Mirkana, the www.badastronomy.com site is great for getting your head around misinformation that’s out there. I was personally disgusted with the FOX special trying to prove that the Moon landings were faked. Of course you have to remember that these are the same people who have fake “reality TV” where everything is scripted and multiple shots required to get everying packaged to be “real” enough for ratings. Unless you’re a member of the Flat Earth Society or on a lot of medication for various mental illnesses (although I think that both are linked), I can’t see anyone coming to the conclusion that they were faked.

I’m a little worried with how NASA is approaching the whole idea of going to Mars though. Going to the Moon they had quadruple backup systems, but when they launched their unmanned probes to Mars they were lucky to even have backup systems (not much surprise they’ve had a lot of problems).

The Moon Missions mush have been real as there is a transmitter on the surface that NASA used to use to judge the distance between the Moon and Earth.

Ive seen a couple of those documentaries about faking the moon landing, and ironically, some of the evidence is compelling.
