Just because they are number 1 doesn't mean they are good. I can get a massive list, which includes the songs you listed, were number 1 at one time that are just as bad or worse.

I didn't say if it wasn't what I liked that it was crap. The bands you mentioned care more about money and their image than the actual music they make. You don't even have to be able to play more than 5 chords today to be number 1 on the charts.

Heh, yeah, that was about my age when I got into his music as well. And yeah, it was kind of weird, esp. b/c I was really into his old stuff. Storm Front was okay, too.
