Rate him 1 to 5, 1 being the lowest, 3 being neutral, and 5 being the highest.
Negative 34 is also available is you truly despise him. (I'll take that one, thank you very much)

Bush himself is a warm and lovable person. A rather stupid and arrogant warm and lovable person, but one you can cuddle at night like a plush toy, and stick pins in. I've heard he's sort of fuzzy. His superiors on the other hand, are the reincarnation of pure evil. Satan himself fears Karl Rove and the like.

There are times when I become enraged by him, because of a policy decision that is, in my view, blatantly unAmerican (like the NSA spying program) or seems woefully out of touch (the idea that poor people will be able to save money to put into health savings accounts) or harmful to the security of the country (cronyism in important cabinet and federal positions, the Iraq War).
But my general feelings about him are simple dislike and disgust for his incompetence and lack of intellectual vigor. This is a guy who doesn't believe global warming is happening (Fred Barnes reported it, and that guy gets his chin dusted for Bush's ball prints regularly) and I don't believe he understands evolution, much less believes in it. How can someone as incurious as that possibly be a good President?

I was thinking more like, when we shoot them, we'll do it with a small gun and bird shot and hope they die of a heart attack in the hospital, and then get them to apologize when they don't die.
Of course, as Chuck Hagel said of Cheney "If he'd served in the military, he'd know how to handle a weapon."

Dean wouldn't have been enough to beat Bush. But seriously, Kerry was the best the Democrats could come up with?
If the Democrats had any sense, they would watch C-Span and get themselves a camera pointed at John McCain. Then count how many times he cries into his hands or shakes his head with bewilderment at the direction his country is headed. They should then do everything in their power to get him to switch and make SURE he wins the primaries and make SURE he is the man going up in 2008. I swear with absolutely certainty, John McCain wins the presidential election if he runs as a Democrat.

He's about middle of the road as far as Republican Senators go--not as conservative as Tom Coburn and not as liberal as Lincoln Chaffee, but about midway between those two.
So why in the hell would liberal Democrats, who think Bill Clinton was the best Republican president of the last half century, ever vote for John McCain, who's ten times as conservative as Bill Clinton ever was? (By the way, I agree with the Clinton assessment--he was the kind of Republican I could vote for.)

See I think its like this, he isn't REALLY as silly and dumb as he apears to be....because if he was....then all those people in America wouldn't have voted him to be president and the most powerful man in the world, and the person who represents their country to the world, now would they? seems to me that its a big joke...so now...when do we all get to hear the punch line?

not republican, democrat.
You need to learn sarcasm, young grasshopper. The argument is, if you look at Clinton's policies, he governed like an Eisenhower Republican in many ways--welfare reform and free trade, for instance--and certainly not like a Johnson or Carter Democrat. He was a centrist, so to a liberal Democrat, Clinton felt like a traditional, pre-Nixon Republican, but he was better than any other Republican president in the last half-century. Ergo, he was the best Republican President of the last fifty years.

That's not really how it went. He didn't "win" the first popular vote whatsoever. One of his liasons, Katherine Harris, intervened with after the recount issue was brought to the court, and it was on her "personal integrity" that she killed the recount and declared Bush the "winner" in 2000. It's good to look at her career timeline and how that coincides with the events.
As for 2004, it was REALLY close but Kerry conceded instead of holding out for recounts and all that jazz. Swift Boat Vets, Rove's pet, did their job.
Nothing funny about it at all unless you're laughing at the American system, which the neocons are apparently quite keen on.

I like President Bush. I dont agree with everything he does and I dont follow him blindly, but I voted for him twice and I'm glad he's been president.
I find it offensive that the fuckwit won the last election you held by wittering about terrorists when the cretin misses a syllable out of the word whenever he enunciates it:
"We have to do sumthin' about these tourists! Kerry wants to let the tourists win!"
I'm pretty neutral about him. He's done some good things, and made some pretty bad mistakes in others...not even including Iraq, which I remain nonjudgemental of until a few more years pass and we're withdrawn from there. Overall, I'd give him a score of 5/10 or its equivalent; neither good nor bad as of this point in time.

I want to learn direct from you, because I'm sure you know, precisely how allowing Mexico to erase our southern border, selling operational control of the six biggest seaports in the country to a company owned by the government of the United Arab Emirates, allowing billions of dollars worth of US proprietary technology (including military and surveillance tech) to be sold to China, sticking a couple 100,000 US soldiers out in the middle of Iraq and Afghanistan to get shot at by terrorist training groups and be used for terrorist propaganda, doing not one bloody thing to improve the training/equipment of emergency first responders or the US hospital system, and alienating our allies 'round the world, add up to "protecting Americans." By cutting taxes, he's managed to create this nation's largest deficit, which every single one of us will have to repay with our own hard-earned dough. And then, they'll blame it on the president under which we had to repay it.
