Hannity and Colmes is one of those "entertainment" shows on Fox News, where one pretends to be a liberal and gets his ass handed to him.

On Steph's show, I would be the conservative hack that adds that air of controversy to the show, in order to agitate the listeners and get them to come back again and again to see Steph pounce on me.

Of course, I would be paid handsomely for this, as Colmes probably is.

Don't you mean that punk-arse Sean Hannity, you know, the one who doesn't even apparently know how to dress himself?

Congrats, Steph ....
BTW, isn't it "breathe", not "breath"?
->Stephanie Larocque has an extensive background in the area of political science. She has for years worked to master and cultivate her craft in all areas of politics. She is what is known in political circles as a political “junkie” she lives and breaths politics.

You and I know the whole show is faked.

Yeah, i guess it doesn't really matter who ya play in it. ;)
Funny thing is there are viewers and apparently, occasionally guests who can't/don't take that into consideration.

It's fodder for the people who believe that WWF wrestling is real.

So, BZoO justs gives airtime to anyone that wants it? Cool. I wonder if they have a program where a person reads pornographic Lion King fanfiction into a microphone that horribly accents the 'p's.

If there were a conservative of the caliber of William Buckley calmly debating with a liberal of <you pick one here who is smart and not Al Franken>, then the show would be worth watching.

They could back up their points with some video clips and other evidence, and the show could go on for an hour, and would be something to watch.

Unfortunately, people are turned on by shows that stoop to the level of Jerry Springer.

Admittedly, the social aspects of having political proclivities more-often-than-not coincides with having an above-average bloodlust and need for viscerally-appealing circumstances.

Query ... would some of the NS arguments here be significantly better? Maybe that's a dumb question, maybe i should rephrase it as "what ones would you use/replay from here, if possible?"
Maybe ... just maybe ... there could be a sketch written up for use on Steph's new radio show, with people doing vocal reenactments of some of the bigger hitters here.
I want Matt Frewer as Lunatic Goofballs. *nods*

I think it explains a lot of the knee-jerk reactions both ways around here.

Given time, some people calm down a bit.

But I think a lot of this OMFG he said *** it's the end of the f***ing world you...

comes from being hyped up by the crap that passes for news and punditry on the TV.

Sex, even if it's hate sex, sells.

I'd volunteer reading parts if i had the proper equip. Even if the audience was initially low, a lot of people would really dig that. *nods*
Hell, a Stone Bridges vs. Stephistan debate would be pretty cool online, as well.

It wasn't a matter of material,
it was a matter that i don't know anyone else shooting for online radio.
Do you? Give 'em props.
So far, it's them, AFAIK.

Her first show was pretty good for a first try - although she had some sound problems with it. I hope that she got that cleard up as she said she would.

And who was it that tole me once that I just hadn't given Fox news enough of a chance to realize how correct their programming? Cornelio or something like that?

I didn't stop laughing for ten minutes and immediately moved him into my "not worth the time unless I feel like amusing myself at the expense of others" category of people ...

To use Kimchi's analogy - if you like the WWF while fully understanding that it's fake, I can understand that as much as may think you're a bit loopy. But if you think it's real...... well that's just funny.

Where is that guy, anyway?
He's as much admitted to me the play he has in mind, so i don't go after him anymore, least not like i used to. The guy has a better sense of humour than he lets on.
I could find the quotes if you like, but it'd take me a few minutes.

I think, if you checked the #'s, you'd find another method would get more attention ... like, say, warm, scented oils - in a kiddie pool. *nods*

Ya know, a poll might be in order. I don't think it'll last too long, but it might be in order, nonetheless.

Based on her choices of musical interludes thus far, I'm thinking that a rap-off isn't quite what she'd be into either... She might, however, accept dualing accoustic guitars at 20 paces.

And - coming as a great suprise from the commentary - I gather that Stephanie isn't a big fan of GW........

I own a Keytar. I could beat ANYBODY in a musical duel with that baby.
