The People of the Book

I would like to postulate this for debate: The people of the book (Jews, Christians and Moslems) are collectively responsible for 99% of the problems in the world today. Because each group thinks that they own the truth and are justified in shoving that "truth" down the throats of others, we will never know peace.
What about the dictatorial governments in places like North Korea or China?

Don't forget Communism. It is essentially a religion without a God.

Ruled by a Jewish conspiracy. All Asians are Communists, and all Communists are Jews, remember?

A lot of people got trampled in the crowd that gathered to see Comrade Stalin when he died. I think one or two hundred.

They'll have to be unpopulated. It'll be lonely. Peaceful, but lonely.

What is that you wish to debate?
Whether it is true or why it is true?
It's a ridiculous statement to begin with, since there are places in the world without any of those religions, yet, oddly enough they don't seem to have 1% of the problems.
Also, even if it were true, your why needs work. I've never known a Jew that tried to shove any Jewish truths on me or anyone else.

Look, buster. There ain't enough room on this planet for both of us, so off you go...
I now claim this planet, in the name of ...
There should be three planets: one for people I deem worthy of my presence, one for arseholes, and one for ordinary people.

christianity is just a cult of judaism which in turn could be argued as a cult of islam. you all worship the same god just with slight variations ( islam names him allah the other two name him j'ah) oh plus the whole jesus thing

I think the Mormons already had this idea. In the celestial kingdomn all good Mormon men will become gods of their own planets. (I don't know what goes on in the other kingdoms)

That's an odd perspective given that Islam is the youngest of the 3.
Why?

Stangely, those places in the world who don't have those religions still have to deal with the fallout from those religions - like imperialism, pollution, etc.
As for the Jews. The really did start the whole ball rolling. Or what do you call a religion that destroys a whol Canaanite city, men, women, children, dogs, because Jehovah told them to. Read the Old Testament - it's a testament to the future values of the People of the Book.

You actually believe that imperialism and pollution are unique to people that follow those 3 religions?

I've read it, thanks for the tip.
They didn't invent the concept though. I'm not even attempting to absolve any of those 3 religions for their participation in problems, but that's what they were/are, participants, with others participating right along. So, why would we lay problems that seem to be intrinsic to humans at the feet of these 3 religions?

here I thought poverty, war, pollution and disease where the causes of most of the worlds problems!
What a fool I've been! :p
