Last Friday, I began my application process to join the British Army.

I've undergone a couple of tests already, and will be taking my BARB test on the 28th of this month (the BARB test is the standard multiple choice test all new recruits take to determine how smart you are) and so long as I have no major health problems etc, I'll start basic training in approximately 3 months time.

But the trade I'll be going into after basic training? A combat medical technician. Basically, a Paramedic.

Irony? A soldier who is trained to kill, and is a Paramedic at the same time.

Ah well. Go me!

Tell them to use clean bullets, that'll reduce the risk of infection.
