Saint Jade

When I first heard about his latest *ahem* escapade (oh haha Saint Jade, what a choice of words), I was highly amused. However, it does raise serious questions as to whether he should continue to captain the West Coast Eagles. I have always maintained that what a sportsperson gets up to off the field should not impact on his career on the field, but he has broken the law.
For a bit of background: Ben Cousins is the captain of the West Coast Eagles, an AFL team based in Western Australia. He has been in a lot of trouble recently about his off-the-field behaviour. The latest event is that he abandoned his car (with passengers in it) at the side of the road down the road from an RBT site.
(On a side note; I'm very curious as to what he told his passengers? "Oh I'm just headed for a slash" seems to be the most likely thing.)
