I think that Pakistani cleric is going to be broke if he has to pay $1 mil for the murder of all authors of pictures portraying the Grand Master Mo as a violent deity. Ironic, no? (How dare we insult his imaginary friend!)

I wonder how much he's paying for the murder of those people who taint his imaginary friend's name by decapitating people in his name and distributing the 'Muslim Snuff tapes' over the internet.

Sigh - I guess that isn't nearly as serious as cartoons - nobody has burned any embassys over that yet.

If I were a Muslim I think now would be an opportune time to decide to convert.

I don't think anyone would convert out of what a few extremists do, or else massive conversions would have taken place all the time in every religion.

The study "Stealing al Qaeda's Playbook" says, the United States should conduct counterinsurgency and psychological operations against terrorist organizations in a subtle manner that avoids "direct engagement" whenever possible.

The study suggests using Cold War-era propaganda tactics to covertly sway public opinion. Attempts by the U.S. "to elicit pro-American feelings in the Middle East by making public pronouncements about the true nature of Islam or the virtues of democracy" should be avoided.
