Atleast according to Italian Judges
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11398897/

I find this article most interest, and am interested to hear others opinions.. What I find most confounding about this case, is that it refers to suicide bombers as gurillas.. However, in Iraq suicide bombings take place in marketplaces, schools, and Mosques. So how judges or anyone seperate the gurilla aspects from the terrorist ones ? and if they arn't seperatable, then shouldn't they be imprision (to better protect those civilians?)

It is conspiracy for mass murder is what is it. Which is illegal in the US but I don't know if other places have that also...

Wait ... recruiting gorillas for suicide bombing? Dian Fossey's gonna be pissed!

*whisper whisper*

Oh ... guerillas!

*whisper*

She's dead? Since when?

*whisper whisper*

ROME - A panel of Italian judges upheld the November acquittals of three North Africans on international terror charges, ruling that recruiting suicide bombers to fight against U.S. soldiers is not terrorism, a lawyer said Thursday.I think that's the most important part of the ruling.

The judges ruled on recruiting suicide bombers to fight American troops. Many countries only count it as terrorism if it's aimed at civilians.

And how do they fight the US soldiers? Murder children on their way to school. And that should have been the most important part of the ruling.

I think 'mudering children' would come under the category of 'attacking children', not 'attacking US soldiers'. I could just as well say the Americans fight terrorism by torturing prisoners and murdering Iraqi civilians - both arguments share the same flaw.

Prove that those three men wanted to recruit people to kill school children and not American soldiers.

Steinbrenner recruits baseball players. That don't make him one.

Still, there should be a serious penalty for recruiting terrorists.

Well yeah, that makes total sense.

I mean, it's not a crime to buy a gun to kill someone with, is it?

Terrorism is guerrilla warfare to begin with. Albeit, a much more effective form than most. Still it is easily in the same classification. IMHO that is.

That depends on which state you live in. In my home state of NJ I'd be facing some prison time for shooting someone who broke into my house. Considering I don't have a permit for my guns I'd probably do some time even if the burglar had a weapon of his own.

Incidently you've mentioned before that your guns aren't legal, why don't you get a permit for them? Just wondered.

Down here in Texas, it's legal to shoot anybody on your property between midnight and 5:00 in the morning. Yee haw! :sniper:

Too bad nobody excercizes those rights. :)
