That's a palindrome, in case you didn't notice. But seriously, it looks like a new type of star, a RRAT star, has been discovered.

Ten animals I slam in a net :D

Pretty cool find. That'll have to knock off a bit of the dark matter needed to make the universe work at least :D

What is this dark matter I keep on hearing about? I've even heard it in a few espisode of Futurama.

Lol, well Futurama aside, these dudes modelled the galaxy as they knew it (stars etc) on a computer, and they discovered that it didn't have nearly enough mass to keep itself together at the speed it's rotating at. So basically they thought 'Hmm... we need an extra few galaxies in here, but we dunno where they are.' So they invented 'dark matter' to make up for the extra mass that isn't apparently there. It has mass, but isn't affected by anything in our dimension/universe or something like that. And apparently it makes up about 90% of the universe. It's kinda trippy sheeee-ite!

Intresting, thanks.

S'alrite :) My summary is somewhat haphazard, so if you want something a little more concrete I'd suggest looking it up. New Scientist perhaps, or something similar.

*Tries desperately to think of another palindrome*

Ummm... lol? :D

Incidentally the first person to post a link to that gay 'longest palindrome ever' bollocks gets a fat slap :p

A fat slap in the bollocks?

Well, whatever floats yer boat :p I was thinking more along the lines of just round the chops. But depending on how I fell it could be with a wet fish. Probably a tuna.

p.s. Can you imagine how awesome it'd be to slap someone with a wet dolphin? Or a wet whale!?!?! *Daydreams about the awesomeness*

edit: hang on, just got what you meant - nah, the 'bollocks' bit was an adjective rather than a noun in this case :D

Is that the Georges Perec one, or are we talking English language only here?

It should be noted for the hard of thinking that my sig is also a palindromic riddle...

I dunno - it's just some bloody ridiculous one that goes on for several pages and could, for all anyone knows, be utter bollocks (palindrome wise) and not be one at all because, let's be honest, who the hell would read through all that crap twice?!

It should be noted for the hard of thinking that my sig is also a palindromic riddle...

It's also in some crazy-ass language that I can't even begin to comprehend. :D Seriously though what does it mean?

We go round and round in circles in the night and are consumed by the flames - it seemed strangely appropriate to the General forum when I adopted it.

On the subject of latin palindromes, this is my favourite.

Fascinating! Can you say "a possible partial explanation for dark matter," boys and girls? :)

Ooooh. You know what'd be unbelievably awesome? If it was a palindrome in English too. That be as awesome as a ninja-pirate-stealth-bear.

Yay! More cookies! Fantastic! Come Generalites, feast upon my delicious, crumbly, doughy bounty! (Although it could be a bit weird - eating cookies outta my arse/nose/ears. I wouldn't worry about the ones in my mouth though - I'll have eaten them :D)

"I Am The Mightiest Mouse"

Oooh. Hehe, that's pretty cool.
