They are the only club that is not running as a business.
Is is almost as if Roman Abromovic is playing a game in real life that ordinary people like me might play on their pc (but with a cheat code: unlimited funds)

That's like saying Asda are ruining British supermarkets because they're backed by the huge funds of Walmart. It's exactly because football is a business that this can happen.

It is actually like Asda selling everything in their store for a loss, just for fun (or a little hobby) knowing that other stores have shareholders to answer to!

I'm confused. Are you saying they're ruining the game through thinking of their supporters?

Do you think that Roman's escape from Russia was out of love for Chelsea supporters asshole?

I don't think that Chelsea is ruining football any more than Ferrari's success ruined Formula 1. There are always battles going on throughout, just maybe not at the top, and it makes it even more exciting when those that always win, for what ever reason, finally get knocked off their perch!:D

Chelsea are an incredibly deep team. for crying out loud, their second team could compete for a spot in Europe.

shawn wright-phillips... poor guy. heck of a player who hardly ever gets to play, now that he's with Chelsea.

they're probably even deeper with overall talent than old European heavyweights like Juve, AC Milan, Real Madrid and Barcelona...

it's a shame that Chelsea and Barcelona, two of the top three clubs in the world (the other, imo, is Juventus), are meeting in the round of 16 of the Champions League. They shoudl not have been allowed to meet until the semifinals at the earliest. (i'm told the teams are seeded... if that's the case, then somehow the seeds were wrong to allow this match-up to take place).

I get that much, but I don't see why he's attacking them for not being profit-obsessed corporations. Seems like an odd way to criticise someone.

As a millwall fan, none of this concerns me.

Can you really say Chelsea is mucking up the Premiership when they just lost 3-0 to Middlesbrough?... Middlesbrough! Pfft, I bet you're just a whiny ManU supporter who's pissed that Glaizer isn't ploughing money into his club.

*shrug* It's how the people who liked loser teams in the NFL got the 'salary cap' thing. It's all sour grapes.

Would anyone care to guess exactly how many gallons of blood has been spilt to pay for Chelsea's 'World 11'? (and those on the bench- oh, and their reserve team etc)

No. Mutu was ruining it. Chelsea is better off now.
