For peanut butter covered perogies.

Do you have any strange cravings?

Which is the strongest craving you've had?

i tend to crave chinese food. a lot.

don't get strange ones... but when i do get a flavour stuck in my head its almost strong enough to taste with my imagination and i can get really grumpy if that craving isn't satisfied (or bettered ;))

edit: what are perogies though?

I am a slave to my cravings. So when I got pregnant, I was already well-used to sudden, terrible cravings I could not ignore. Nothing really weird though, but when I get these strong cravings, nothing will satisfy me but that particular food. Like Vietnamese spring rolls, or asparagus, or cilantro, or this Dutch almond cookie I found in town. I'll eat this same food for days in a row, for every meal...and then not eat that food again for months, sometimes longer. My father's mother was the same way. It's bizarre.

Are we just talking about food cravings, or does my craving for chaos and mischief count?

As for food cravings, definitely chinese food. I need to have it every so often or I start to hallucinate.

i tend to crave chinese food. a lot.

i've got more chinese boxes in my trash then... well... i have alot.

i find i have odd cravings. often. very, very odd. for example, just the other day i bought an entire can of black olives on a whim. not a normal can, mind you - but a massive, taco-party-sized can. i ate them all and chugged the juice.

I'm always shocked when I come across someone who doesn't know what a perogy is. Then again, I grew up in a province chock full of Ukrainians:). BelAir (Safeway brand) at one point made these divine chive perogies...my god they tasted like chicken kiev and I could eat them by the dozens. I still get mad cravings for them, but since they're discontinued, I can NEVER be satisfied! *weeps*

Mmmm...bacon, onions, perogies, sour cream...

Salt N Vingear chips with queso dip ( also with disasterous results)

I once craved a chili dog with cheese (I was vegan at the time, oh and also pregnant)

my strangest non-pregnant craving? every once in a while I crave Reese cups, fritos and coke, it's the combo, you eat a frito drink some coke, eat a bite of Reese cups, drink some coke, eat a frito (you get the idea) I tried it with Pepsi once and it just wasn't the same. :p

I always seem to crave ice cream after sushi (well, after my belly has calmed down some, since it's always full after going out for sushi). I'm not sure why. Sometimes, I really crave salt - anything salty will do and if I can't get it, I'll settle for just salt.

I expect to get mad cravings all the time one day when I'm pregnant. My mother apparently craved olives the whole time she was pregnant with me, and they kept huge jars of them around for her.

Have you ever tried pouring salted peanuts into a bottle of Coke? Oh - and it has to be a *glass* bottle of Coke, a can or plastic bottle won't do. I'm not sure why, but it's really good.

It's really strange but i will subconsciously end up eating dark chocolates and drinking orange juice together every now and again without realising it. I don't know why seeing as i don't even like dark chocolate that much but it keeps happening to me.

I had filet mignon and lobster hibache for dinner last night with a plum wine (after a mai tai before dinner). It was wonderful. Green tea ice cream for dessert.
