but details...? well i arrived an hour or so late, suffered a small "interrogation" from her mum, suddenly became comfortable in each other's company, exchanged v-day gifts and letters and the like (:fluffle: )... then we went out to have a pizza for lunch (and icecream sundays :cool: ), saw a movie (i think it had jim carrey in it IIRC... wasn't paying that much attention :p), went back to hers (getting lost along the way lol), had curry and enjoyed most of the evening cuddled up together on the sofa watching music DVDs of one sort or another :)
had to literally tear myself away :p

I went to see The Mighty Boosh's live show with my girlfriend, and we had the best seats in the house! :D So I declare my Valentine's day the best ever. Well, my best ever.

I really don't know why people are wondering what I'm going to say. What else could I say except that I had the most wonderful time, enjoyed every second of it and am now even more sure of my love for Huw :fluffle:

Hehe, my desk is covered in things to remind me of Huw now :p The candle, the "emergency" flowers, the four leafed clover thing (if you missed that certain exchange on NS, don't ask...), the heart-light-flashing thing (made by Huw himself! *bows to wonderous soldering skills*), the card (which I like better every time I read - you seriously are eloquent as hell Huw (and I wore the badge all day, ha!)), the various sweet things (some of which I had this morning - not quite the roast chicken and ice-cream but still... :P (okay - noone but Huw is gonna understand half of this post....)), the adorable bear and the rubber duck (might have a bath later...*cough*...)
edit: (And I almost forgot :eek: ) I also have my two specially made mixed CDs to listen to!

Oh, I could say so much about the day. I was so nervous in the morning but actually we just clicked so well. It just felt so right to be with him, hug him, feel his arms round me... I felt so comfortable and relaxed and found talking really easy. It was nothing like meeting someone new. And I laughed so much with those crazy conversations in the restaurant! And the film... well, the uh... "cinema experience"... was very enjoyable :D (if damn teasing...). The "listening to music in my bedroom experience" was rather good as well ;) :fluffle:

It was fantastic. I was un-sure about meeting on Valentine's Day because it if it hadn't gone as well, might have been more pressure and nerves. But because it went so well, it did make it an even better day. So thanks Huw for changing my mind!

I'm thinking maybe you just missed what a successful and important day this was for them. I think if you truly understood what it meant to them and how happy they are as a result, you likely wouldnt have made any negative comments-sarcastic or not. Right?

There is so little positive experiences discussed on NS. More just a landlslide of smug self importance, ignorance, intolerance and pure stupidity. Too many immature, bitter pricks, lashing out feebly in the only way they can.

The story of PM and Glitziness, however, has me in a good mood.

I've shown people how to do "it" properly for years. (we really need a licking smiley head to add right here)

I remember the first time I met Mr Peechland. He was scheduled to arrive around 11a.m. and of course I was running around the house like a chicken with my head cut off, trying to make sure my hair was just right, my house was tidy, coffee was made(he is a coffee holic) you know- everything just right. Well I heard a knock on the door and I thought "oh my god....he's here, am I ready, do I look ok?" Freaking out basically. So I go to the door and no one was there. I was like "ok, you must be experiencing audio hallucinations...youve got to calm down." So 2 minutes later, another knock at the door. It was him....he had left the flowers he brought for me in the car due to his own nervousness. I opened the door and instantly my nervousness disappeared. It was a day I will never forget.

Incidentally, we have been together 4 years and were blessed with a beautiful baby boy in 2004. :D

edit: on a thread-related note - I'd forgetten just how much sugar my body could take... :P

i shall devour a certain chocolate heart later today (i have an amazing amount of self-control when it comes to edible gifts... in a way i don't want to eat them cos the gift (and memory of being given the gift) will be gone... maybe i'm just too sentimental :p)
