I posted this in another area, but not nationstates, so I am posting it here too, to see what you all think.

Okay,
Maybe my mother just raised me better than others, or maybe I just developed a better sense of reality...OR maybe I'm just talking out my ass here, but does anyone else think that humans ages 5 to 30 are being a bunch of whiny brats? Have we lost our sense of common sense? More so I guess this will end up being my rant for the day.

Here's a news flash. Life in NOT fair, suck it up and move on.

No one but your mom cares about your self esteem. No matter how much the people of the world are nice to you, if you don't believe in yourself no one will.

Quit typing psycho babble on the computer. Writing Suxor in your blog does .not make you cool.

You are fat because you choose to be fat. I happen to be heavy too. (yes I choose to be. I could work out, eat better, stop eating chocolate, but I choose not to.) You cant sue McDonalds for making you fat. If you'd stop eating there 8 times a day you would not gain so much weight.

However this does not give you the excuse to be depressed about it. The reason people don't date you is not because you're fat, it's because you hate yourself. If you can't love yourslef no one (except your family) will either. I love myself, and if people don't think I am attractive, well to hell with them because I am a great person. My boyfriend cares about me even if I am heavy.

If your kid is being stupid and hurts himself on the playground, you can't sue the equipment company for making monkey bars that weren't safe. Tell you kid to stop goofing around on the monkey bars.

People spank your kids if they are being shit heads. I was spanked as a child, and I don't have mental anxieties, hidden angst, a deep seated desire to murder my mom and dad, or anyone for that matter, I am not abusive, I didn't want to kill myself and I'm not going to go on Dr. Phil and bash my parents. Frankly if more people panked their kids *ie, spank...not abuse, or beat* thre would be less familys on maurry where the parents are afraid of their kids dying on the streets, overdosing, or killing them.

Suicide is NEVER an option for you to escape your miserable highschool life. Other than your families, who will be crushed at your loss, none of the mean people will remember you in 5 years.

No job is beneath you. If you're going to make money, take the friggin job. Eventually you will gain more experience and can move up in the world.

Not everyone is good at sports. Sometimes you/or your kid will not make the team. Try another hobby or team. Band, art, drama and choir are just as awsome as hockey. Chess club is good too (except for me cause I suck at it big time)


Unless you are a nerd you will probably work for one someday, so stop with the atomic wedgies.

You're 8 year old child does NOT need a cell phone. They should still be playing with dolls and trucks, not taking to their bitchin friends and heading out to the mall for the newest fashion lines.

Girls under the age of 16 should not dress like a skank. Your five year old does not look sexy in a tube top and a mini skirt. Stop buying that crap for them. Let hem be little girls. Let them play in the mud, get messy, have tea parties, cuddle their teddy bears and just be adorable before you skank them up.

Men and women will never truely be equal...Sorry, but they won't be. I am a feminist too, but a realistic one. Men and women were created physically different. That is a fact of life. The average man will always be stronger than the average female. Yes ladies you can bulk up and work out, but then you are not average anymore, thus defeating the equality thing. Men can not give birth...again sorry guys, you'll have to mutate and grow a uterus before you can be equal to women. Ladies we don't have a penis. I agree we should be paid the same for the same job, have equal oppertunity to have any job we wish, PROVIDED we can do that job. I'm not about to go get a job on the oil rigs, just because I can. I need to be able to do the job as well as a guy before I can demand a postion equal to theirs. And why do we want to become men, or men become women anyways. If we were all androgenous, our lives would be boring.

Last but not least. Could the religions of the world back the fuck off of each other and just let us be? I believe in religious freedom. So doesn't that mean I should be able to say merry christmas to someone without someone else getting their back up over it. So what your not religious, or you have a different religion. Just reply with season's greetings and be done with it. Don't sue the schools for having a baby Jesus manger display outside. Don't freak out when you see a big easter bunny hopping down the road. Just go about your day. I'm not asking the world to become Christian. I'm not a christian, but my family is. I'm not going to stop going home for christmas, easter, thanksgiving and such just because I don't believe in those holidays anymore. Quit being so politically correct. It is humanly impossible to please every single person on the planet. So quit trying before your head explodes.

7. What you say is meaningless. What you do makes you who you are.
8. Image is everything. If you look like a clown or a punk on the outside, well, nobody but punks and clowns will ever find out otherwise
9. [Girlfriends/Boyfriends] are a dime a dozen. A good job is hard to find
10. When it comes to sex at work, never stick your meat where you make your bread

12. On weapons - never carry anything you don't want to eat, because someday someone is going to take it away and feed it to you.

Here's something I've noticed quite clearly the past few days: They say if you do good things, you will be rewarded. I say bullshit. I try to be nice to people, I don't insult people (I'm a little more abrasive on NSG than in "real life" ;) ) too much, but I get fucking nothing in return. Thanks for reading, or skipping my post, whichever, I don't mind. I will now continue to think of ways to kill myself... :(

That is an excuse. Just because the world isn't perfect is no reason to accept that. Feudalism wasn't fair, but the 3rd Estate didn't "suck it up and move on", they revolted and tore the ruling classes to peices, improving their own lots and the nation in general for their efforts.

1. Don't cut in line. You are not more important than anyone else, so screw you.
2. When someone makes a good point that disproves your point in an argument, acknowledge their point, do not just ignore them. It makes you look stupid, and if you do this, you most likely are.
3. Don't cry about it when someone disagrees with you, either debate them or ignore them. For reasons why, see #2.
4. Don't try to force your opinion on others. If they don't want to hear what you want to say, don't make them, it's rude. Exceptions include "Hey man, I think that bear is running straight towards you, you might want to stop kicking its cub.", "I think that's a 300 Lb. anvil that's about to fall on your head." and other similar situations.
5. Not everyone will like you, deal with it.
6. You will not get a great paying, easy and fun job right out of High School. Expecting this will ruin your life.
7. Sales at stores are not there to save you money. Most "2 for $1" or similar ads are normlly the same price before they advertise them. Stores are not there to be your friends.
8. ALWAYS back up your arguments, and always thoroughly research the subject you are arguing about.

Bullies are a fact of life. There are two ways to deal with them, bend over and take it in the ass or fight back. Fighting back is harder when you're young, but if you can fight back, you can get the upper hand.

Bullies only pick on you because of a perceived weakness, but once you show your claws, they will back up. They only pick on you because they think you won't fight back. Bullies are cowards and they hide behind a tough exterior because they believe that they truly can.

Life is seeking fullfillment of ones time. It is all how you perceive others actions, ultimately others actions are a translation of your world veiw, thus if you see others as winey you yourself identifies with that meaning.

What is universal? Am I to be your dictator, or are we to say that we are intitled to our own opinion of the way life is. Why give head to the notion of common sense and conformity as it is nothing more than a totalitarian control mechanism if it does not express option choice and liberty the basic essentiallys of equality and freedom. We have our sense, but we are not common we are exceptional and unique individuals, in a greater society which will find itself in peace and understanding when we accept that we are the will of the almighty.

Life is what it is. It is only when we have desire that we have pain. Eventually psychosis sets in and pain looses meaning.

I care about all my avatars and aim to improve the wealth of all. I am to improve situations. Self Esteme is a stumbling block to uncertainty. We are what we are we have the capacity to better ourself, in mind body or spirit all we need to do is follow a path of betterment.

I am a happy person as a vegan and persuing jain, I think a healhty lifestyle brings more happyness, obesity tends to degrade the enjoyment of life and offers a lower sense of energy.

There is never a reason to be depressed we are what we are, either we choose to live for our betterment or we are confused unaware of the truth of our life.

There is no need to do anything than what you desire to do, it is all a balance of probabilities. Use your time to the best. Never should we seek destitution but accepting a life of poverty is just one part of life we may need to accept. Learn to cherish your experiences, not your possesions. SInce we are the masters of all things as the will of the almighty, it is only those wrapped in possesion and militancy that withold materials from others in selfishness.

Express yourself freely, if other are open minded they will understand you speak from where you are, if they do not it is irrelevant as they cannot fully comprehend you.
