Singular. It's been my experience not all of your -perticually the unborn children- are crazy. But here's a recent conversation in my backyard. Visual an over grown Feng Shui garden and the distinct sent of pot, bicardi & mangoes*.
Random: So how long have you been in Australia?
American: Two years now...
Random: Is it true all Americans carry guns
Me: ...which is why tilda tilda B is an tautology!
American: Yeah... *removes gun*
Random: WTF?!**
American: What...?
Me: Can we keep the criminal activity in my backyard to a minimal...?
American: I can carry a gun...
Random: No, no you can't...
Me: Well you can, it's just illegal. I mean I CAN drive with my feet, it doesn't make it a good idea***.
Random: How'd you g et that?!
American: Carry on luggage...
Me: Remind me again how capable out border control measures are...?

lmao yeah most Americans carry guns.
My grandfather rides his motorcycle around the U.S. carrying a DE .50 with him at all times. When I was 8 he let me fire a Kar.98k and he gave it to me as a gift. He also gave me his Colt .45 ASC before he rode off into the sunset, literally. What a great man.

I mean I can use a gun. I've had some great times down at a shooting range. But, I've seriously never seen anyone carry a gun. Perhaps because it's grossly illegal!

Every once in a while I'll spot someone with holster under their coat here in the U.S. but I never say nothin' about it.

Not if you have a permit. I do carry one regularly, I just make sure no one sees it. :D

Actually, I thought you can carry a gun as long as you had a permit that allowed you to do so? I may be wrong but I believe hearing that you can as long as you have a permit.

Just because I don't say nothing doesn't mean I don't watch that person like a hawk for as long as they're within 100 feet of me. :D

You can technically carry an exposed firearm, along with your permit, so long as it does not cause public concern. However, most states have outlawed it entirely.

The permits are for concealed carriage. I always found that odd, since it sort of implies that you don't need a permit if you were to just carry a gun around in the open where everyone could see it. Then again, I'm no expert on guns or gun control, so I'll be quiet now. ;)

I support the pistol whipping and/or shooting of anyone who talks about tautologies.

Which explains why there is alot of gun violence in America.
"Whoah, it's not my problem he has a gun."
*bam bam*
-News the next day-
"Well, I thought I saw a gun holdster through his jacket, but I didn't think anything of it, I never would have expected he could have bad intentionss."
Must be all the John Wayne movies. Or perhaps Clint Eastwood?

Where the hell do you live? The united republic of care-bear?
It's officially called Australia, or "Land where one school massacre is too many"

I know, but unfortunately Logic and Reason is built into my Philosophy course. So, alas, I'm stuck with massively pointless Propositional Calculus.

Aside for the fact that I would not willingly live where they won't let me defend myself, Oz is fairly adamant about such things. Not that it stops anyone who really wants to carry a weapon, but if you are a criminal anyway, what's one more "crime"?
I have carried a firearm every day of my life for the past 18 years. Haven't shot anyone yet - though I have "used" (displayed) my firearm no less than three times to disuade people from assulting me.

It does help in spotting the criminals. They're the one's with the guns.

Oh, that explains it. The country where if they don't have school massacre plots, they make them up. Well, carry on with your banning projects then.

Well, if the criminal is stupid enough to let people see his gun, then he deserves what he gets.
However, most people don't tend to wave around guns unles they are about to use them - usually nowhere near the police.
