I need to rant. This is the drama that is my life presently:
The cast:
Me: Yours truly
My wife: my wife
Wilma: Old friend of my wife
Fred: Ex husband of Wilma and former friend of both of us
Betty: New wife of Fred
Barney: New husband of Wilma
Little Sister: of Wilma
History: Several years ago , WIlma started hanging around again w/ Barney and shortly after left her husband (Fred) in a very messy breakup. Fred had several nervous breakdowns. Over the next months, Wilma married Barney and proceeded to tell me and My Wife all sorts of things about Fred (vandalism, abuse, stalking, gay experiences, etc). We believed none of it due to her previous actions. She marries Barney and moves to WA to be w/ him.
About a year and a half ago, Fred meets up w/ Betty and the four of us start hanging out. They tell us things about Wilma and Barney (pre-divorce infidelity, possible rape, etc.) It matched up w/ other things we had found out so we believed them and told them of the things Wilma had said about Fred
After a visit to Wilma's family (local to us) and observing some cats living in horrid conditions, my wife calls animal control on them. As is typical of a Gov’t agency, the guilty went unpunished. The only people who knew we did this was Fred and Betty.
Current Episode:
On December 23, Betty calls my wife and says she had been talking to the boyfriend of Little Sister. BF had told her that Barney had been caught cheating on Wilma. Asking if my wife could confirm, my wife calls Little Sister and has it confirmed. That night. Wilma starts receiving Emails from an anonymous source filled w/ bad typing and much profanity. The style was in the same format as Betty’s very distinctive style.
On Christmas day, Betty E-mails my wife and tells her that she doesn’t want to be friends anymore because “someone trustworthy” has told her that my wife was talking about her (Betty) behind her back and couldn’t trust her anymore.
A few days later, my wife receives an E-mail from Betty saying that we “had f*cked w/ the wrong person” etc. and that she had told Wilma everything we had been discussing including the Animal control call.
Over the next month, my wife confesses to Wilma about the call and they get into a fight. Little Sisters BF denies having even talked to Betty. Fred and Betty deny the things they said about Wilma while Wilma denies most of what she said to us in conversations w/ Betty. Lot’s of he said, she said kind of stuff.
The High Drama:
Little sister ends up pregnant by now ex BF who is currently living w/ another girl. I contact Wilma and tell her that she and my wife should put away their differences for the time being to help Little Sister and that it would be a mistake to trust Fred and Betty. She agrees, stating she doesn’t trust them, only talks to them to keep things calm and starts talking to my wife again. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your point of view) little sister miscarries early.
Now:
More things keep being said by Betty and Fred on their various blogs about My wife. After an argument, I’ve instructed my wife not to E-mail, IM, or respond in any way to them. Little Sister has informed us that when she went over to Betty and Fred's house, she saw an e-mail from Wilma (her sister) stating my wife had said things that she never said. All the blogs are being hacked into and changed except ,so far, Wilma’s w/ accusations flying.
My Plan: I discussed this w/ my wife and we decided we are going to have a little fun. We are going to plant stories w/ Wilma about suspicion of me cheating on her and see where they lead and what kind of accusations we end up w/. I’m hoping to run w/ this for awhile.
