I've recently been inspired to somehow make the $4000 required to buy one of these. Anyone have them? Likes? Dislikes? Should I save my future money for soemthing else?

Because it's at least $8000 worth of pretentious snobbery! You won't find a deal like that anywhere else!

Actually, I was also thinking of that...fun way to pass the summer by instead of slaving $4000 together.

Beware ... if you have the physical dexterity of George W. Bush, this device may not be for you.

I'll ask again.. what's the benefit? And why would you be willing to actually spend $4000 on.. a scooter. ? And.. what's the point? Can't you just walk? I'm just curious, thanx.

I don't have one but have ridden one and it is an enjoyable experience. Is it practical or worth the money? In most cases, I would say hell no, but if you live in a large urban area with a toxic atmosphere, urine soaked streets and 7 or 8 thousand people per square mile, I could see the potiential benefit. I can also see benefits in large campus enviorments, manufacturing complexes and for people with special needs. This said however, there really is not a way to justify the cost which is completely unreasonable unless you are using it to replace a second car.

I probably don't need it and should make one if I wanted it. Even if I do want it, it'll never happen, so no need for you guys to worry.
