i.e.

Mouse-over Thread-title text works (doesn't in Opera for me)
Lines appear between threads (ditto)

Stuff like that.

Just loaded it ... been meaning to try the new version for awhile

Yeah formating is a bit off ... better then older opera versions ... dimention and entry boxes look way better

It is also a LOT lighter then FF ... I like

it works fine for me...no real problems with formatting. The mouseover still doesnt work all the time, but everything else does.

Same with me.

On a related note, I heart Opera and want to have it's babies

My main reason for trying it is the Fit to Screen function - which is really handy on a convertable micro-format tablet (L-1024x600/P-728x1024)

Not having the mouseover work is annoying though.

Though a Firefox user, I must admit that Opera follows the standards more closely, and hence Opera's display is technically the one that's right.

I use Opera when I need to se pictures because Firefox isn;t showing some pictures(mainly Wikipedia, Yahoo! and Ebay).

I use Opera Mini on my cellphone, and the forum looks a lot different in it than in other browsers, but that's kind of the point.

I use Opera, and it looks fine. Not the same, mind you, but fine.

However, Opera isn't more popular than Firefox, much less IE. So, no matter how "right" its display is, it is still fucked up.

And why would one use Opera, though I may consider it until Firefox gets fucked fixed. The 1.5 line is buggy as hell; it would be ironic if their new bug reporting system plugin is what is causing the problems.

Well, like I said, the "fit to screen" option is bonzer on a tiny tablet. :p

You mean the "maximize" button?

You mean the "maximize" button?
Nope. It actually scales the entire browser window to fit - no scroll-bars needed - so you can have (on a big screen) multiple tiled "full screen" browser windows open simultaneously, or, in the case of a sub 800pixel screen (like my tablet in portrait mode) you can still see the whole thing without scrolling.

I have, on not a few occasions, gotten into stereo wars with neighbors.

Word of advice to potential Stereo War combatats -

Never get into a stereo war with someone who owns the entire Wagner Ring Cycle and Bose speakers. :D
