I refuse to acknowledge Valentines Day as a real holiday because it's a scam cooked up by HallMark to sucked more money out of you. It's also a day for women to bitch at their boyfriend/husband/lovers, if they don't show up at the door with crappy gift that won't make it past mid-March.

I'd be much happier with a festival that allowed people to get drunk and sleep with random hotties (safe sex everyone!) and then get back together with their significant other with no silly repercussions like jealousy etc. Now THAT would be something worth celebrating! Valentine's Day is just too damn tame. I'll pass.

Genius? I think I'm just ripping off ideas from the ancient Midsummer Festival, or various other 'fertility' festivals. Nonetheless, I think a day and night of serious sexual release would do wonders for our nations. A vertiable buffet of yummy 'sandwiches'...
