heres a plot summary from IMDB (sorry dont have one of my own, but it's been forever since i have seen it)

It seems to Mrs. Brisby, the widowed head of a family of field mice, that her youngest son must die, either by the farmer's spring plough or of pneumonia in his flight to safety. In her quest for a cure she frees a young crow from some string in which he has foolishly tied himself, at the mercy of the farmer's cat Dragon. In return for her risking her life to save his, he takes her to the creature all birds know is the wisest: a great owl. Owls eat mice, but when this owl learns Mrs. Brisby's name he sets her on a path to earning a noble solution to her predicament - which is the secret of NIMH...

I didn't think they'd made anything good since Fantasia (1940)...

I can't choose between Aladdin, The Lion King, PotC, Mulan, The Incredibles... Finding Nemo... Toy Story... Bah. I'm too indiscriminate in my movie-liking to have favourites. I'm just easily amused.

Robin Hood was pretty good. Any Disney movie that wasn't a sequal was good, just about.

I voted the Lion King because it is one of the best, and I don't consider the newer ones real Disney - Disney-Pixar is fair enough, but I'm considering this to be a classic Disney poll.

Also, Pirates is just cheating, as it is blatently the best, but only because of Johnny Depp.

Aladin and The Lion King are easily the best of the Disney movies, though I love all Disney movies. I when I was little I loved The Fox and The Hound, and Bambi. But I haven't watched a Disney movie in forever, though can still sing tons of Disneys songs without even thinking about it.

The best Disney by far is Song of the South. But if you're under 40 all you have seen is clips of the songs. It's about Uncle Remus, an Aesop type story teller. As he tells the stories animals act them out. They all have a moral at the end.

The reason you won't ever see it is because all of the characters speak in a Southern Black dialect. Disney won't take a chance that some black person somewhere will be offended by the dialect. They tend to ignore the fact that all of the human characters are heros and depicted as being very smart and wise.

If you can get a bootleg copy, you will see the real magic days of Disney.

My favorite recent is probably the Lion King, with a tossup between Jungle Book and Fantasia for my favorite "old" Disney film.
